Some may never return. She’s determined to stay. Seva, 40, is a company CEO and husband to Oksana. Before the war, he travelled across Europe for business. Now, he makes regular supply drops of medical aid and rations to Ukrainian troops on the front line in Eastern Ukraine. The prime minister has sacked her first chancellor and done another U-turn on the mini-budget. This time, the promise to keep corporation tax at 19% rather than increase it to 25% has gone. Her friend and political ally Kwasi Kwarteng has been replaced by the former health secretary Jeremy Hunt. Liz Truss said: "It is clear that parts of our mini-budget went further and faster than markets were expecting." President Putin has said there will be a "harsh" response to further attacks against Russia, following an explosion on the Kerch Bridge which links his country to the annexed Crimean peninsula.
