Cody and Luke react to a thriller where the Cubs never lead but kept things interesting. The Cubs dropped the second of three games against the Rays Tuesday night by a final score of 6-5. Patrick Wisdom and Wander Franco both hit homers for their squads. Nico Hoerner continued his strong play defensively and added a RBI-triple in the late innings to help bring the Cubs within one run, but the Rays held on behind strong pitching in the back of their bullpen. A night after the Cubs did everything to a lose a game but ended up winning, the North Side did everything right but managed to lose the game. The Cubs dropped Game 2 of it's four game set with Colorado by a score of 6-5. The Cubs led early, but Marcus Stroman struggled in the fourth inning, which ended up being the difference in the game after Alan Trejo hit a three-run homer to cap a five run fourth inning. The Cubs flirted with a comeback but came up short in the end.
