Why did God almost kill Moses right after calling him to go before Pharaoh (Exodus 4:24-26)? 

Matt Chandler, Pastor of The Village Church and President of Acts 29 Network, has officially stepped down from his leadership roles. And yet, it’s been said that Chandler is NOT disqualified from ministry. So why is Chandler being asked to take a paid sabbatical from preaching/leading, if he’s still qualified for the office of Elder?

Romans 14:5 seems to clearly dismantle the sabbath for New Testament Christians. How would you deal with this verse?   “One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” Romans‬ ‭14:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Genesis 6:6 says, “And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.” Does this verse mean that God made a mistake, or that he changed his mind? Watch this clip to find out a biblically faithful response!

Many Christians, and even pastors, go to great lengths to conceal and minimize their sin. But a refusal to confess our sins produces only misery and heartache. It causes us to fall under the fatherly displeasure of God. Therefore, Christians should run to God quickly and fully.

I agree that the sabbath is important, and that it occurs on the first day of the week. However, if you are forced for whatever reason to work on Sundays, can you "take a sabbath rest" on a different day of the week?

Dear Pastor Joel, my church says it’s legalistic to put standards on how to dress at church, but at the same time, their standard is a one piece bathing suit at the beach. What are your thoughts on this stance? Also, what are your thoughts about modesty in general?
