Jesus arrested – In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus was arrested without reason, betrayed with a kiss, misunderstood by his disciples, taken away without a fight and stood silently before the authorities. This message is an incredible reminder of what true love and an undying commitment looks like.

If your Christianity is costing you something, be blessed we are called to pour our lives out for Jesus.

Like Jesus, we too need to be dead men walking. From Christ’s example in gethsemane, we can learn how. Like Him, We need to remember: we are not alone, we are not our own and that His power will get us home!

Jesus Honoured – 5 days before Jesus died, He was publicly honoured as the king of Israel. This event both fulfilled an OT prophecy and forced the hand of the religious leaders, proving that even if death, He was in absolute control.

Interceding at the right hand of the Father, our Advocate Jesus represents us before the Father and helps us understand by His Spirit that the ongoing work of the Cross is to give us victory over sin. In an age where repentance seems to be a dirty word, this message reminds us to read the Bible as it appears and not make it say something else to placate a modern world that is full of itself.

The Gospel is not just entrance eligibility qualifying you for Heaven when you die – it is the entire opinion of God. In fact some have said that God is the Gospel. This Gospel is Good News that keeps on giving – daily it transforms us into the image of Christ. This is why we never graduate from the Gospel and why Paul says it’s of First Importance.

Theology of Aggression: Scrubbing our culture of aggression has not been helpful except in producing a neutered, passive male who seems adrift in a strange world. The problem does not lie with aggression per se, but in the incorrect channeling of aggression. God can do incredible things with men who are angry about the right thing, generously angry about passivity, social injustice and a host of pathologies that results in abandoned wives and under-fathered kids.

Sweet Sex – There are lots of opinions when it comes to the subject of sex. The average man has sexual thoughts every 20 seconds. The problem is not that we think about sex, but don’t think deeply enough about it. The purpose of this message is to reconnect God to sex and sex to God, and to do that we have to go back to the beginning.
