Fresh out of high school, Kelsi Sheren, a nineteen-year-old woman, sought to join the military to help liberate those oppressed by the Taliban in Afghanistan. While she was often the smallest person in basic training, she proved she had the biggest heart and often the most energy. She made it to Afghanistan and joined a British military unit for house-to-house insurgent patrol. What she saw there was unimaginable death and destruction—including the killing of a brother-in-arms. Devastated, Kelsi was sent home to get her head straight, but even therapy and medication couldn't clear her mind—or let her sleep. When two others who served with her later took their own lives, she feared that was the only way out. Clinging to life and the love of her husband and child, she knew she wasn't ready to give in. Nichols has been a strength coach for over 20 years working with athletes of all ages in amateur and professional athletics. Jeff is certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Facilitator both with distinction. Jeff began his career as a graduate assistant at Troy University under Richard Schaughnessy CSCS*D and later as an assistant managing 14 Varsity sports. After earning a double major in Kinesiology and Chemistry in 2002, Jeff joined the navy and spent eleven years as a Navy SEAL. Aside from serving as a SEAL while on active duty, he also worked at a Navel Special Warfare command as the active duty Department Head within the Human Performance Department. Jeff oversaw product development, product assessment, program assessment, and operator delegate within Special Operations Command (SOCOM) for Human Performance. After his honorable discharge from Naval service, Jeff became the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Virginia High-Performance LLC in Virginia Beach. Jeff oversaw the programming and training within VHP that focused on youth athletic teams, wounded veterans, and numerous national and international tactical organizations. Jeff now owns Performance First, a private business, specializing in optimizing human performance for the special forces branches of the military, fire, police, and federal agencies. Chad is a former Force Recon Marine and DoD Contractor with eight deployments to Afghanistan as part of a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Task Force. After overcoming his personal battles with PTSd and nearly becoming a veteran suicide statistic, Chad founded the Mighty Oaks Foundation, a leading non-profit, serving the active duty, military veteran and first responder communities around the world with highly successful faith-based combat trauma and resiliency programs. The title is pretty accurate, this episode is mostly shenanigans. We recorded this after our most recent leadership event in Dallas. Mike spent 18 years in the US Army and as a government contractor for OGA (Other Government Agency, it was probably the CIA but who really knows these days). He served as a SGM (Sergeant Major) in Special Forces in various positions and deployed multiple times to combat theaters. He is an expert in Counter-Terrorism, security, and crisis management operations and is the host of the Fieldcraft Survival and Mike Force Podcast. Mike is an avid outdoorsman, overland, traveler, and hunter. He has a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and resides in Utah, where he is the CEO of Fieldcraft Survival. JT grew up in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from North Kitsap High School, he shipped off to Air Force basic training to become a Munitions Systems Apprentice. He later opted to go through the process to become a Tactical Air Control Party Specialist (TACP). In early 2013, JT met his business partner, Mat Best, and, together, they began producing Mat's Youtube Channel, "Mbest11x." Evan Hafer is the founder and CEO of Black Rifle Coffee. Prior to his current role he spent twenty years serving this country, first as a Special Forces soldier (Green Beret), then as a contractor for the Central Intelligence Agency, completing multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Logan Stark is the VP of Media for Black Rifle Coffee Company. A Michigander by birth, Logan joined the US Marine Corps shortly after graduating from Greenville High School. He trained as an infantry assaultman with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines out of Camp Pendleton, California, and later completed deployments to Okinawa, Japan, and Sangin, Afghanistan, as a scout sniper. After his time in the Marine Corps, Logan earned a degree in professional writing from Michigan State University. Jariko was born in Washington DC and as a military brat grew up all over the world. In 1997 he enlisted in the US Army. After basic training and Airborne School, he completed the assessment and selection process for the 75th Ranger Regiment and was assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Ft Lewis Washington. Jariko went on to serve in the Ranger Regiment for 15 years. Jariko deployed to combat 15 times in Iraq and Afghanistan from 2002-2012 as a Weapons Squad Leader, Rifle Platoon Sergeant, and Ranger Company First Sergeant amounting to 54 months of total combat experience as part of a Joint Special Operations Task Force. Jariko retired from active duty in 2017 after four years as the Senior Military Science Instructor at St. John's University in New York City. Since retiring he has advised on several major motion pictures, national ad campaigns, and television series as well as working as a freelance journalist in Afghanistan and Ukraine. He now works for Black Rifle Coffee as a Content Producer and lives in Salt Lake City Utah.

ZeroEyes is a human-verified proactive gun detection solution that integrates into existing security cameras with a mission to stop mass shootings and gun-related violence. ZeroEyes was founded by four former Navy SEALs: Michael (Mike) D. Lahiff serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ZeroEyes, previously serving as Director of Digital Programs at Comcast NBC Universal where he oversaw the coordination between project management teams and software development teams in order to deliver multiple digital products. Prior to joining Comcast, Mr. Lahiff was the managing member of Horsemen Partners, a private fund focused on acquisitions of small and medium-sized businesses. Mr. Lahiff also spent ten years in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL. Sam Alaimo is the Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder of ZeroEyes. Before founding ZeroEyes in 2018, Mr. Alaimo worked as an Operating Partner at Hawk Capital Partners, and previously as the Founder and Managing Director of the private investment firm Horsemen Partners. Mr. Alaimo also served in the US Navy as a Navy SEAL. He earned his MBA from Columbia University and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Rob Huberty is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of ZeroEyes. Before founding ZeroEyes in 2018, Mr. Huberty worked as a Pathways Operations Manager at Amazon, leading cross-functional teams, initiating process improvement, developing standard operating procedures, and serving as a mentor for his teammates. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy SEAL where he collaborated with international governments to conduct special operations, trained foreign forces to ensure mission success and employed innovative problem-solving. Rob earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in Finance and General Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Arizona. Timothy Sulzer is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of ZeroEyes. Mr. Sulzer founded VEG-E Systems, one of the first indoor vertical farms in the US where he invented automated growing systems and plant-tracking software to optimize growth indoors. Before ZeroEyes, Mr. Sulzer founded another startup where he developed a computer vision application to detect and pattern animals for wildlife enthusiasts. Mr. Sulzer earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Delaware Valley University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dustin Brooks is the Chief Customer Officer and Co-Founder of ZeroEyes. Before founding ZeroEyes in 2018, Dustin worked at Global Asset Technologies as a Military Instructor developing Navy SEAL candidates. Mr. Brooks served in the US Navy as a Navy SEAL for 6 years. Mr. Brooks earned his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
