His experience also includes seven years as a police officer where he served as head of the Firearms Training Division, as a S.W.A.T. Team member, and as a precision rifleman. He is the author of the books Urban Rifle: 45 Years of Teaching and Training and Urban Rifle 2: Close Combat Conflict Resolution. Eli Kfoury: Veteran, Combat Medic, Entrepreneur
Today’s guest is a retired Special Operations Combat Medic and entrepreneur.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Elias “Eli” Kfoury and his family escaped the civil strife of his homeland and immigrated to the United States. He became a naturalized American citizen and served for 21 years in the Navy. Much of Eli’s military career was spent at Naval Special Warfare Development Group where he deployed as a combat medic at the tip of the special operations spear. David Morrell: First Blood
Today’s guest is literary legend and icon David Morrell.
On May 25, 1972, he introduced the world to Rambo with the publication of his debut thriller, First Blood. Over the past 50 years it has never been out of print. Andy Stumpf served with both SEAL Team Five and Naval Special Warfare Development Group before being wounded in combat. Andy recovered and was assigned to the Naval Special Warfare Center as a BUD/S Dive Phase instructor. Two years later, Andy became the first E-6 in the history of Naval Special Warfare to be commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer program. He then deployed with SEAL Team Three to Afghanistan.
