Through His Blood, Jesus has brought us into a new and better Covenant with God, which is the basis for our prayer-life. It includes the gift of praying in tongues, whereby the indwelling Holy Spirit helps us to pray God’s perfect will into the earth, by giving us the utterance (Acts 2:4, Rom 8:26-27, 1Cor 14:2).

Intercession involves Spiritual Warfare, for we are bringing God’s will into the earth by the power of His Spirit, released through our prayers, against the opposition of the kingdom of darkness which rules this world-system. EPHESIANS is the key book on God’s mighty Power released through our Prayers.

We are a royal priesthood with authority to rule with Christ through prayer. The Intercessor discovers the will of God and then sets himself to pray it into the earth, even against spiritual opposition. We see how Daniel's prayers were the key that determined the outcome of the angelic conflict in the heavens.

One of the greatest ever INTERCESSORS was MOSES. Exodus 17 shows that the VICTORY is won in the place of INTERCESSION. Moses is a picture of Christ, the ultimate Intercessor, who stood in the gap for His people, so they came under God's mercy, not judgment (Exodus 32, Numbers 14,16).

Intercession starts by coming into God’s Presence, seeking His Face and dedicating ourselves to carry out His will in the earth. We receive His burden (will) into our heart (womb), and then pray it out & thru to victory. We get vital keys from Abraham, as he gives us the first example of intercession in the Bible.

Our life and ministry is the outflow of our ministry before God in worship and prayer. Intercession for authorities is essential for the spread of the Gospel. Brexit is vital in view of Biblical Prophecy of the Revived Roman Empire, and was predicted 100 years ago: "Britain will be saved by praying women."

The UK has a call & destiny as a Christian nation to preach the Gospel to the nations, but came under Divine Discipline for forsaking her promise to Israel (Gen 12:3), not only losing her Empire, but also her Sovereignty to the EU. Brexit is a sign of God's hand of blessing coming back upon us to fulfil His Plan.

We are all called to the Ministry of Intercession. Christ ever lives to make Intercession (Hebr 7:25), to release the blessings that He procured for us by His intercession for us on the Cross. As His Body we share in His present priestly ministry. He needs us to do this for He has given us authority in the earth.

“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. He is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works” (Psalm 145:8-9). God delights in mercy (Micah 7:18). He is eager to pour out all His blessings upon us. Jesus perfectly revealed the compassionate heart of God.

Our heart is a garden which we must watch over, so that no root of bitterness springs up, troubling us, cutting us off from grace, and defiling others by our negative words (Hebr 12:15). Jesus compared a tree of bitterness in us to a Sycamore Tree, which we must command to be removed from our heart.
