Have you grown up watching the film series Spy Kids, or have your kids? In this episode, I'm bringing Alexa PenaVega, who you may know as Carmen Cortez, in the hit movie Spy Kids. Alexa shares the things she faced in acting and how she stopped chasing after the world's desires to grow in her personal relationship with Jesus, which ultimately fulfilled her. I chatted with Alexa about the books she wrote with her husband Carlos, whom you may recognize in Nickelodeon's series Big Time Rush. We talked about her favorite part of being on Dancing With The Stars with Carlos, the partnership with Hallmark media, living on their boat between Florida and Hawaii, and serving at their local Salvation Army. The first book, "What If Love Is The Point: Living for Jesus In A Self-Consumed World," talks about the life of Alexa and Carlos and how they both met and grew in their faith.
