It may have seemed like only a matter of time, but Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta, have become the latest social networking site to launch a subscription service. Owner Mark Zuckerberg announced the paid service will launch in the coming weeks with users gaining verification, better access to customer service and other benefits as a result. Jess Kelly, Newstalk's tech correspondent and host of 'Tech Talk' joined Dermot and Dave to explain why the company are taking this step, and what it'll mean to listeners.

'Long Lost Families' sees Davina McCall and her team seek to reunite relatives who have long lost touch, or never knew the other existed. Cocaine Bear is a brand new film, set in America but filmed mostly in Ireland, which tells the story of a bear on a drugs binge. Star of 'The Hunger Games' and 'Pitch Perfect', Elizabeth Banks, took the real story of a bear and cocaine and has turned it into a this incredible dark comedy. She joined Dermot and Dave to chat Ireland, how to direct a film with a furry main character and why she took inspiration from Jaws.

It's peak awards season and the red carpets continue to be turning green as we celebrate the incredible year Irish film has had. And the BAFTAs were no different with big wins for 'The Banshees of Inisheerin' and 'An Irish Goodbye'. We heard all about the wins, the losses and the bits you might have missed with our Eimear.
