That Christmas (Netflix - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde & Jacklyn Collier

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH #Sponsored by BetterHelpBetterHelp.com/Hallmark - for 10% off your first month #ad The movie kicks off with Santa delivering presents. He is down to one reindeer and facing the worst storm on record. But that’s not going to stop him from delivering gifts to Wellington at Sea. He falls off a roof, and Santa says, “I think we need to go back to the school play on December 22nd.”We meet Danny, a new kid in town who doesn’t want anyone to notice him, except for his crush, Sam. There’s also the director of the play, Bernadette, and the star of the play, Charlie, who is Sam’s brother.Bernadette comes on stage and announces that this is going to be a fresh take on the story of Jesus, featuring hip song remakes like Wannabe and Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday.Of course, they all live in the charming town of Wellington at Sea, which is known for its love of Christmas. But everything is about to get very complicated because of the snow.Everyone wakes up on the 23rd to a winter wonderland. Everyone is aware that it’s a snow day except for Danny. He makes it to school just in time to see Ms. Trapper, his grumpy teacher, who tells him he should stay and work on his studies since his mom is at work. So, he spends the day learning physics via snowmen. It turns out Ms. Trapper is very skilled at snow.Sam and Charlie spend the day tormenting their neighbor and getting in trouble for it, receiving a stern reminder that Santa Claus is coming to town.Bernadette spends the day with her extended family, wishing they wouldn’t do the same thing every year. It’s Christmas Eve morning, and Charlie wastes no time getting into trouble by freeing a bunch of caged turkeys.Danny spends the day trying to figure out how to talk to Sam when he sees her at her family’s shop later. He also receives bad news from his dad—he won’t be home for Christmas due to the snow.Meanwhile, all the adults in Bernadette’s family end up getting stranded in the snow with no way to get home.Back to the beginning: Santa is coming to save everyone’s Christmas, but the blizzard is really something.Of course, Santa knows all. He whips up something special for Danny. He manages to get all the presents down the chimney at Bernadette’s house. And, of course, Sam gets what she wants. However, Santa thinks Charlie is naughty, so he leaves nothing for her. But Sam and Charlie are twins, and Santa mistook them, so he left the gifts on Charlie’s bed. When Charlie realizes what Santa did, she puts all the gifts on Sam’s bed.Santa receives an alert that a naughty kid has turned nice, so he turns back to make sure Charlie knows she is officially on the nice list. It’s Christmas morning, and Charlie is shocked to see the gifts.Bernadette decides it’s her job to guide the kids in making this Christmas special and new, just like the play.Danny is excited to see his amazing Christmas present but is sad to find out that his mom unexpectedly has to go to work. While moping around, he notices that his neighbor, Ms. Trapper, looks awfully lonely. Since they had some fun building snowmen together, he figures, what could it hurt? When she finds out his mom is at work, they work together to surprise his mom with a magical igloo lit with Christmas lights and a wonderful Christmas dinner. As Bernadette’s parents finally make it home, they realize that they can’t find her younger sister, who has taken a game of hide-and-seek very seriously. So the whole town comes together to find her, thanks in part to Danny and Sam, who are now officially a couple. The next day, everyone shows up for the annual Boxing Day cold plunge and celebrates the beauty of Wellington at Sea.  Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Season's Greetings from Cherry Lane (Hallmark+ - 2024) ft. Ryan Pappolla

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHNakedWines.com/DeckTheHallmark - code + password: DeckTheHallmark to receive 6 bottles of wine for $39.99 + free shipping It's Christmas Eve 2024, and Mike is stressed, per usual. His husband, Zian, the calm one, is there to calm him down, per usual. Mike feels bad about not doing big Christmas decorations like his dad used to when he was growing up. He's also stressed because he is going to surprise Zian by flying his grandfather in for a visit.Cut back to 1951, where we meet a couple, Charlie and Joan, fresh home from the hospital because Joan broke her arm. It's a big Christmas for them because Charlie is about to ship out to Korea. In 2003, we see a postal worker who is thrilled when a couple, Sarah and Luke, gives him a Christmas card. They're a perfect couple. They never fight. They never disagree. That is, until Luke's family comes to stay for Christmas and brings a friggin' massive wreath. To make things more awkward, her family comes. Things are going to be WONKYYYYYY. The families end up arguing about everything—wreath vs. weird handmade thing, angel vs. star, etc. It's a mess out there. This leads to Luke and Sarah getting into their first fight.Back in '51, Charlie and Joan are blown away by the generosity of their neighbors after Charlie accidentally burns the turkey. He goes downstairs to write a Christmas card to his wife that he plans to mail to her while he's gone. The letter gets lost in the mail and is actually the card that Sarah and Luke received at the beginning of the movie. It was a dead letter! This brings them together to realize what really matters. So back to 2024—Grandpa finally shows up, and Zian is shocked. He begins to tell Zian about his family and reveals that he wouldn't be here today if it weren't for an American doctor named Charlie. So that's nice. They're all connected.Everything wraps up with a nice bow, and we're all happy. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Leah's Perfect Gift (Hallmark Channel - 2024)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHVisitGreenvilleSC.com/Things-To-Do/Winter/We meet Leah and Graham. Leah is Jewish but has always loved the idea of Christmas, so when Graham invites her to celebrate Christmas with his family and meet his parents, she jumps at the chance.First, they visit her parents for a Hanukkah celebration, and it’s a great time. Graham, however, warns her not to expect too much when they visit his family—just in case she’s disappointed. But when they arrive at his parents’ house, it’s a full-on Christmas wonderland. Leah is blown away—it’s everything she’d hoped for.But then… Graham’s mom happens. She’s super serious, very intense about her schedule, doesn’t allow anyone to just rip open presents, and insists on fancy Christmas pajamas instead of fun ones. Leah quickly realizes that Graham’s mom is going to make things… difficult. Case in point: she even asks Leah to change her Christmas sweater. The tension builds as Leah continues to clash with Graham’s mom, and Graham finds himself awkwardly stuck in the middle—handling it poorly, to say the least.Leah’s big moment arrives during the gingerbread house competition. She absolutely crushes it, complete with a smoking chimney. And it’s clear that Graham’s mom is not amused. Leah turns to Graham, like, Why didn’t you warn me to let your mom win? And Graham just shrugs and says, Maybe I didn’t want her to win!The awkwardness keeps escalating. Leah accidentally breaks some vases that Graham’s ex-girlfriend, Julia, made and sold at a Christmas market. And then—of course—Julia shows up to hang out. AWKWARD.Things go from bad to worse when Leah’s snowman is less than Pinterest-perfect. Graham tries to lighten the mood with a snowball fight, but Leah accidentally nails his mom in the face. Yikes.Later, Graham tries to reassure Leah, telling her he wants her to stay. But then things get even weirder when his sister announces she’s dropping out of business school to start an artisanal pickle company. The family is not thrilled. And to top it all off, Graham’s dad drops a bombshell, saying he’s been waiting for Graham to return home and join the family bank. After dinner, Graham brushes it off: Oh, my dad always says stuff like that. Don’t worry, I’m not moving. On Christmas Eve, Graham gives Leah… a gift basket. She’s like, Oh, this is… nice. Meanwhile, she’s gone all out, giving him a memory book filled with every single date they’ve ever been on.But then, a twist: Graham’s mom suddenly does a 180 and starts showering Leah with praise, calling her so wonderful. Even Julia apologizes for overstepping. Things are really turning around for Leah!Except… she can’t find Graham anywhere. She uses Find My Friends and sees he’s at the general store. When she gets there, she’s stunned to see her parents are there too. They all end up back at Graham’s family’s house, where Graham announces, I didn’t just get you a gift basket for Christmas—I also got you this. And then, boom—he pulls out a ring and proposes! Big kisses, big celebration. The next morning, everyone wakes up on Christmas Day and celebrates together as one big, happy family. Sugarplummed (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Brett White (Pop Heist)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHCozyEarth.com - promo code HALLMARK for up to 40% off your orderThe movie kicks off with a promotion for The Harmony Channel! They are airing a marathon of their popular Sugarplummed series, and viewers can win a home decorated for Christmas!Cut to real life: Emily is a mom of a moody, artistic teenage girl named Nina and a TikToking teenage boy named Max. She’s married to Ben, an architect who never understands what his son is doing—ever.Emily is very type A, complete with her Christmas checklist. Her family doesn’t care for her checklist; they just want to do their own thing. Emily’s a hot-shot deal maker with an assistant who spends her days watching made-for-TV Christmas movies. Emily explains that these movies are dumb and all follow the same rules. She says, “Of course, I’d love for life to be like one of these movies, but it’s just not realistic.” Her assistant encourages her to live in the moment instead of focusing on her list, and maybe she’ll be surprised.Emily’s mom collected ornaments, so when she finds out that night that they were delivered from storage to her office, she runs to the office to grab them. The box breaks, and they all fall onto the floor, including a star that says, “Whatever wish you make, it’ll grant.” She looks up and sees one of those Sugarplummed movies on TV, so she wishes for a Sugarplum Christmas. Just then, the star begins to glow, and all the lights in the office start to flicker. Suddenly, Sugarplum magically appears in her office. Sugarplum is just as confused as Emily and asks Emily to help her get back to her town of Perfection. Emily, overwhelmed, says, “I’m going crazy!” and runs to leave. Sugarplum follows her, and they figure out that people can see Sugarplum but don’t recognize her as Sugarplum.Sugarplum is confused by the lack of snow and explains that snow is part of the rules! Emily is shocked and asks, “The rules are real?” Sugarplum replies, “I mean, it’s a book!” She pulls out the book and says, “It’s pretty clear that I’m here to help you with your perfect Christmas list, and after I do that, I’ll get back to my home!”The next day, Emily wakes up shocked to find that Sugarplum has brought in a full crew to decorate her house like a winter wonderland. Emily is surprised to learn that the decorators are working out of the goodness of their hearts. Luckily, she has a bag full of princess tiaras from all the princesses she’s met. When Sugarplum finds out that Emily has a big-city job, she just has to tag along! She listens in as Emily has a meeting with a developer who wants to tear down a ski lodge. Sugarplum walks in and works her magic, even helping two enemies, Vic Webster and Fiona Gubelmenn, fall in love—and boy, is it steamy! Give those two a movie ASAP.The magic of Sugarplum continues. When they find out that the headphones Nina wants for Christmas are only available if you win a Christmas competition, Sugarplum absolutely crushes it.Emily is too busy to show up for Max’s career event, so Sugarplum agrees to go. At first, the kids make fun of her for being weird and make fun of Max for bringing her, but then Sugarplum pulls out a magic snow globe and causes it to snow indoors. It’s phenomenal. Max becomes the most popular kid in school.Emily gets great news—her newly decorated house has secured them a spot in the Harmony Channel Christmas house competition. But the magic begins to fade. The power goes out due to too many Christmas lights. Vic Webster wasn’t actually into Fiona; he just wanted to trick her into giving up the ski lodge. Sugarplum gets sued for cutting down a tree and then arrested for the snow in the school. The police are baffled by Sugarplum, seeing as how she has snowflakes as fingerprints. Luckily, Emily knows the law and is able to get her released. But it’s getting too real for Emily. Her son is suspended, and her daughter is mad at her for ignoring her. Sugarplum realizes the magic is fading. Emily thinks that as long as she wins the contest, they’ll be okay! That’ll be the amazing memory her family needs to keep the magic light burning. But things get out of control when she adds a ton more to try to ensure they win the contest. She doesn’t even realize that her family is absolutely hating it. Her kids say, “We didn’t ask for any of this. We want Christmas to be like it used to be.” They all leave her alone and go to the Christmas pageant like they used to do together.Sugarplum helps Emily realize that her family doesn’t need a perfect Christmas—they need her. Emily pulls out of the competition and makes it in time to see her daughter perform at the pageant. But Nina is freaking out and runs away. Emily goes after her, apologizes for being the worst, and tells her that she believes in her and that she shouldn’t worry about being perfect, just have fun.The performance is great, complete with some Christmas magic. Everything is as it should be, and Sugarplum says it’s time for her to go. She suddenly is transported back into the TV, and the family sits down to watch a Christmas movie, realizing that their friend Sue looked a whole lot like Sugarplum on TV. A Dance in the Snow (Hallmark Mystery - 2024)

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHGetJoni.com - for 15% off your subscription The movie starts off real slow. Literally. A slow ballad plays. Suddenly, a girl comes down the stairs, clearly ready to go off to the dance. Her name is Jenny, and her mom's name is Melanie. Melanie is going to be the chaperone at the dance to keep an eye on Jenny and make sure she's doing okay. Jenny has autism and sometimes has a tough time with loud noises and whatnot. Things are going okay at first until things get a little too intense with the music and the snow falling. Jenny runs outside, and Melanie decides it's probably time to go home.Cut to one year later, and Jenny is excited to be a senior and eager to figure out what’s next for her, which she hopes is going to college in California. There’s some pushback from the PTA because the dance is so close. That’s when hot teacher Daniel steps in and says he’ll be the liaison and help make sure this is possible. There’s a new boy in town named Will, who Jenny takes a liking to, and he agrees to help with the dance.Melanie and Daniel come up with an idea to make the dance fun for everyone – a silent disco. You can control your own volume, and it’s something new and fresh.Once it all comes out about both dances, they decide to merge them. It’s the night of the party, and bad news strikes: it’s snowing, and Jenny is afraid of the snow. But Will inspires her to conquer her fear and come outside. The party is a smash hit, and Melanie agrees to join Daniel in Paris on his sabbatical. Our Little Secret (Netflix - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde & Jacklyn Collier

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH#Sponsored by BetterHelpBetterHelp.com/Hallmark - for 10% off your first month #adVisitGreenvilleSC.com/Things-To-Do/Winter/ The movie kicks off with a fun little animation telling the story of a secret that started in 1996 when Avery met Logan. They became quick friends. Avery could 100% be herself around him, and vice versa. As they got older, that friendship blossomed into true love—the kind that can get you through anything, like the loss of Avery’s mom.Fast forward: they’re adults now. Avery lands a job in London, and Logan is less than thrilled. It’s 2014, and on their last night together, Logan is driving the struggle bus. They’re in the middle of a fight, but it boils down to him saying, “I’m just really going to miss you, and I’m sad.”At her going-away party, her dad gives an emotional speech before handing the mic to Logan. Logan gets down on one knee, but before he can even pop the question, Avery blurts out, “No.” Logan does not handle it well and throws out, “If your mom were alive, she’d be disappointed.” Ouch. Avery breaks up with him and leaves.Cue a fun montage of the world’s biggest moments from 2014-2024 (shoutout to Stranger Things and Squid Game—Netflix wins again). Now it’s 2024. Avery is a hotshot dealmaker with a hotshot dealmaker boyfriend named Cam. Logan, meanwhile, is a contractor dating Cassie, who comes from a family where every sibling’s name starts with “C.” (More on that soon.)Avery and Cam head to her dad’s house, which is all packed up. Her dad, now remarried, is selling the family home. She says goodbye as her dad and stepmom leave for a holiday trip. Then it’s off to Cam’s very uptight family. At their gathering, guess who walks in? Logan and Cassie. Turns out Cam is Cassie’s brother (one of the “C” names).Logan and Avery are stunned but quickly decide to pretend they’ve never met. Avery, already intimidated by Cam’s mom (played by Kristin Chenoweth, no less), doesn’t need the added drama. But the awkwardness only grows. Cam has his own “former friend” story: a girl named Sophie who studied abroad and is now back. Cam’s mom loves Sophie.Meanwhile, Logan and Avery strike a deal: Avery will help Logan land a business deal with Tim Meadows, and Logan will make Kristin Chenoweth like Avery. This is where things go off the rails. Avery borrows a jacket, eats some gummies from the pocket, and discovers (too late) that they’re weed gummies. At church. She ends up rambling about her hands and turns a Christmas reading into a Kool & the Gang singalong. Kristin Chenoweth is not impressed, but hey, the pastor loved it.Later, the munchies hit. Avery eats a batch of cookies meant for a cookie exchange. To cover it up, she blames the dog, which backfires when the dog has to be rushed to the vet. Shenanigans ensue, but they manage to keep Kristin in the dark. The chaos ramps up when Cam’s younger brother, Callum, overhears Logan and Avery talking about their past relationship. He blackmails them into helping him get a booth at a Christmas market. Then there’s a bar scene. Guess who shows up? Sophie. Avery sees her getting flirty with Cam, and when she gets a call about her dad’s real estate agent needing access to the house, she leaves. Logan offers her a ride, and they have a heart-to-heart about her memories of the house. He encourages her to buy it, and they spend some quiet time there.Later, Logan catches Cam sneaking into the house late at night. Cam begs Logan not to tell Avery. Finally, everything blows up at the Christmas Eve gathering. Cassie surprises Logan by inviting his parents, and Grandma spills the beans about Logan and Avery’s past. Callum exposes Avery’s cookie crime. Just as she’s about to leave, Avery asks Cam if anything happened with Sophie. He admits it did. It’s over.Avery leaves, and Logan asks if he can call her. She says no.But when she finds out that Logan suggested to her dad that she should buy the house, she realizes he might be something special. She ensures his business plan gets to the right people. In the end, Avery’s dad surprises her with the keys to her childhood home. At her housewarming party, Logan asks for a second chance. They confess their love and kiss. A year later, they’re planning their wedding. Through animation, we learn they get married sometime after that.  Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show?
