Today on Line Noise we have a very special guest in Richie Hawtin, a Canadian producer who has undeniably been one of the most important names in techno over the past three decades, for his work as FUSE, Plastikman and under his own name. We spoke to him today about Consumed In Key, a new collaborative take on the classic Plastikman album Consumed, made with Chilly Gonzales. We talked about jazz, shuffling drums and the importance of the notes that aren’t there.
