Truth Affirmation

You might not be able to control events around you, but you can control how you respond to the disruption in the world today. Be guided as you repeat an affirmation to feel safe. It's difficult to know what's really true these days. Separating truth from deception has become more difficult than ever. Formerly trusted institutions such as political, economical, educational, health, and judicial organizations have sown seeds of mistrust over the decades. Many people are speaking and demanding their truth be heard. The truth is what is so badly needed in our world today. Sifting through lies and deception requires listening. Each time you sit down to meditate, you tap into your inner truth. The more you share your truth, the more integrity you add to the world. This week, you'll be exploring truth from the perspective of the ancient tradition of Satya, or truthfulness, from Pantanjali's Yoga Sutras. This is part of a collection of meditation series focused on sending more peace and love into the world. You'll focus on truthfulness to help cultivate a calmer, kinder approach to the problems in the world today. This is part 2 of a 7-part Truthfulness meditation series episodes 2103-2109. THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: You're invited to take part in a Truth Quest where every day this week you become aware of thoughts, words, and actions that aren't based on truth. THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION TECHNIQUES: Affirmation - "I listen to my inner truth." Breathing - Inhale: Calm your thoughts. Exhale: Listen to your truth. Mudra - Ushas Mudra Chakra - 5th - at throat - inner peace Herb - Tulsi - immunity Yoga Asana - Ukatasana - Chair Pose You'll find additional daily support and a weekly guide with the meditation techniques for each theme at sip.and.om Instagram and sip and om Facebook. You'll find deeper, longer daily 30-minute guided meditations on the Sip and Om meditation app. I invite you to try it for 2-weeks free! Loving-Kindness Walking Meditation

Are you ready to put into practice the loving-kindness techniques you've explored throughout this week's series? I encourage you to take your meditation ritual outside today. If that's not possible, no worries. But if you could do a walking meditation outside, you can practice grounding yourself with loving-kindness, even when triggered by stress -- maybe the loud muffler of a car roaring by -- you'll be sending that driver loving-kindness instead of glares. I think most people agree that the world needs more loving-kindness. This week, take part in the ancient tradition of Ahimsa, or non-violence, from Pantanjali's Yoga Sutras. Discover how harmful thoughts are considered to be as violent as physical violence. This is part of a collection of meditation series focused on sending more peace and love into the world. You'll release negative thoughts and cultivate a calmer, kinder approach to the problems in the world today. Join us in part 7 of this week's Loving-Kindness series. You'll be guided to release negative, harmful thoughts and replace your thoughts with loving-kindness. This is part 7 of a 7-part Loving-Kindness meditation series episodes 2096-2102. THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Every day, consciously send loving-kindness to yourself, others, and the world. THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION TECHNIQUES: Affirmation - "I send loving-kindness to those around me.." Breathing - Inhale: Send out loving-kindness. Exhale: Release negative thoughts. Mudra - Brahma Mudra Chakra - 3rd - at abdomen - inner passion, zest for life Herb - Passionflower - calms the heart Yoga Asana - Setu Bandha Sarvangasana - Bridge Pose You'll find additional daily support and a weekly guide with the meditation techniques for each theme at sip.and.om Instagram and sip and om Facebook.
