In this episode, we discuss the dollar for dollar exemption. This is a tactic that mortgage brokers and property investors can use to increase the amount they can borrow by using multiple banks.  This works because when you might purchase an investment property from a bank. Then, when you attempt to borrow more from the same bank, they won't allow you to borrow the same amount of money against that first property.  But by moving it to another bank, you are able to take a more significant portion of the mortgage across to the new bank.
