Since I am away this week, on today's program I played a lecture by Rev. Rich Shields on Ephesians 4. This presentation was given at the Eastern Regional Conference of the AALC in 2015.

On today's program, I was joined by Rev. Lewis Polzin from Boars in the Vineyard to continue our discussion of Henry Eyster Jacobs' A Summary of the Christian Faith. On this week's program, we discussed chapter 12 on the States of Christ. We discussed the incarnation, Christ's death, the resurrection, and many other important topics.

On today's program I discussed the Ecclesiastical Text theory of Theodore Letis. I explained my perspective on this issue in defense of the Majority Text over the Critical Text. I briefly talked about King James Only views, and gave a short explanation of textual transmission.

On today's program I discussed abortion in light of the recent events surrounding Planned Parenthood. I examine early Christian teaching on the subject, and briefly overviewed the Biblical reasons why abortion is sinful.

On today's program, I responded to Matthew Vines' recent post "40 Questions for Christians who Oppose Marriage Equality." I was able to get through all 40 questions, and explained how Vines does not agree with the Scriptural view of marriage. Instead, his ethical system is guided by experience and emotion. This is an important program.

I recorded next week's program early due to a trip I will be on next week. On this program I responded the recent Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage. I asked the question: does this issue matter? and answer in the affirmative. I discuss how important it is for Christians to defend the orders of creation and give a response to these important issues.

Today I did a second question and answer program on a variety of topics. First, I addressed the issue of Tullian's Tchividjian's fall and resignation. I then talked about evangelical catholicism, degrees of sin, premillennialism, and historical criticism.

I spent today's program answering a variety of listener questions. I addressed the Majority Text in relation to the Textus Receptus, the validity of the Lord's Supper in non-Lutheran traditions, the place of regeneration in the ordo salutis, and the Finnish interpretation of Luther.

On today's program, I deviated from my normal topics to discuss the LGBTQ movement, and transgenderism in particular. I talked about how Christians should respond to this issue, and where the church has fallen short in the past in doing so.

On this week's podcast, I played my lecture Christification: A Lutheran Approach to Theosis from the Imago Dei Conference. This follows up on the lecture I played last week on Justification by faith.
