With many of our older adult clients choosing to stay at home or being told to stay in place, we are seeing more people return to, pick up or become increasingly interested in gardening! Gardening is the second most-reported leisure time physical activity for older adults (behind walking). For many of us #GeriPT's, treatment looks VERY different from what we are used to. Sicker, younger, highly contagious patients, changing mindsets, scaling back treatment plans - or getting pulled from "comfortable and familiar" and being sent to a faster paced, less comfortable setting. It's a whole new ball game - or is it?
