463: Can Alonso Win A Third Title?
Alonso’s tricky start to the 2021 campaign with Alpine has raised some question marks but, as the Spaniard tells Alex Kalinauckas in our cover interview for Autosport Magazine, it’s far too early to know where Alonso really stands. Even drivers that have just changed teams have found it hard to adapt and Alonso has had two years out of F1.
As Alonso points out, it seems only fair and sensible to give him more time. It’s quite possible that Alpine’s progress and the state of F1 following the rule changes for 2022 will have a bigger impact on how realistic his aim is.

461: Interview: Sportscar racing legend Tom Kristensen
Sportscar racing legend Tom Kristensen is a special guest in the latest episode of the Autosport podcast, discussing the Dane's remarkable career across multiple categories.
The most successful driver in the history of the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Sebring 12 Hours, Kristensen won Formula 3 titles in Germany and Japan in his early days and also won races in the domestic touring car championships of Britain, Germany and Japan.
Retired since 2014, Kristensen has now released his memoirs in English, with contributing chapters from esteemed journalists including Autosport's sportscar correspondent Gary Watkins - who reported on each of Kristensen's Le Mans victories and was part of his pit crew during a British Touring Car Championship race at Silverstone in 2000.
Joining Watkins and Autosport Plus editor James Newbold, Kristensen discusses a range of topics including how his 'Big 9' manifesto shaped his team interactions, his determination to race at the 2007 Le Mans 24 Hours after a violent DTM shunt at Hockenheim, why he's at peace with missing out on Formula 1 and his thoughts on the future of sportscar racing

Formula 1’s return to Barcelona can elicit a few groans from the fans who think it’s a race which doesn’t provide any action. But the winner of today’s Grand Prix executed a bold strategy and had the ability to turn in a series of hot laps on fresh tyres. It might not be voted the race of the season, but we thoroughly enjoyed the battle up front and plenty more down the grid.
On the podcast today Ariana Bravo is joined by Stuart Codling (Executive Editor, GP Racing), Luke Smith (F1 Reporter, Autosport) and Jess McFadyen (Director of Digtial Strategy, Motorsport Network).

The third episode of the 2021 Championship soap opera was certainly on script, even if it wasn't full of dramatic performances. The battle at the front saw the lead change several times and continued the Mercedes vs Red Bull storyline. Further down the midfield we saw plenty of DRS-assisted overtakes and impressive drives.
On the podcast today Ariana Bravo is joined by Jonathan Noble (F1 Editor, Motorsport.com), Luke Smith (F1 Reporter, Autosport) and Jake Boxall-Legge (Technical Editor, Autosport).
Here's what you can see right now on Autosport Plus …
* Gary Watkins writes about what to expect from sportscar racing's bold new Hypercar era
* Jonathan Noble looks at the biggest headache F1 faces over its sprint race experiments
* And how the Valencia E-Prix farce left Formula E with an image problem
