While it appears that the establishment won the big races, conservatives achieved record wins in state legislatures. I explain the seemingly contradictory voting patterns of GOP voters. It boils down to money, name recognition, liberal Republicans lying to voters, conservatives stupidly splitting the vote, and a lack of focused strategy. Why am I more concerned with the shots than with abortion, even though both are abhorrent? Rather than fighting to maintain the status quo with our failed institutions as other conservatives would have you do, I advocate embracing the left’s disdain for the courts. I explain what the true role of the courts was meant to be and how it has been corrupted. We still don’t have a conservative court, and 9 times out of 10, judicial supremacy will work against us. I explain why delegitimizing judicial supremacism, along with an immediate push to ban abortions in the red-state legislatures, will actually accelerate the trend of national divorce. On today’s special show, I’m joined by columnist Pedro Gonzalez, who has been one of the few people on the Right to directly criticize the conservative movement, not just the Republican Party. Together, we develop a full diagnosis of the problem with the movement. Central to its failings is the refusal to recognize that conservatives are living under the heel of an evil empire that hates them and has no relationship whatsoever to the old republic. All other stupid things the movement does, including allowing Republicans to betray us all the time, flows directly from that. This also explains how conservatives got hoodwinked into the Ukraine media orgy. Conservative media has also been corrupted by informing its views based on temporary talking points and the reaction of the Left rather than by long-term strategic plays and fixed goals.
