No, the era of one-party rule in Washington is not over. In fact, it’s just beginning. I explain how the GOP is irremediably broken and literally serves as a uniparty on every issue that matters. Just this week the GOP screwed us on marriage and then reelected the same failed leaders in both chambers. So what do we do? I lay out a multi-pronged approach to changing GOP primaries into town hall convention systems, concurrently running independent candidates where it makes sense, using the party for ballot access but creating caucuses to blackmail the GOP, and then a relentless agenda to focus on local conservative politics in red states. Democrats expend all their energy destroying civilization; Republicans expend all their energy fooling us into thinking they are fighting them, thereby ensuring no legitimate opposition arises. The former Virginia attorney general and deputy DHS secretary notes that Abbott still refuses to repatriate illegal aliens. The post-election introspection in the conservative movement is long overdue, but most conservatives are still missing the point. Even more important than exploring GOP values on the mechanics of elections or fretting about presidential elections, we need to focus on the fact that Republicans still oppose us on fundamental issues. They are about to screw us on codifying gay marriage. I explain how this is not even about moral values, but about confusing an entire generation with transhumanism that is leading to depopulation. While conservatives mourn the loss of the election and despair over Democrats creating a ballot juggernaut, they must realize that the source of the problem is the GOP itself. The reason Republicans lose elections is because they screw us on every policy issue, including election law. They went along with the COVID policies that led to Democrats building this mail-in system. Ron DeSantis did the exact opposite. He culturally changed the state and created more conservative voters through his policies, while red-state Republicans create more Dem voters by agreeing with their policies. I go through the GOP’s robust power in nearly half the states to show how even in states where candidate quality, mail-in ballots, and blue voters are a non-factor, they still fail to deliver on policy and continue to govern as leftists.   Learn more about your ad choices. Today, I give you the non-binary approach to the Trump attacks on DeSantis. This is not about who should run for president but about what we need to focus on now. I explain what is at stake and how we’ve never had a better opportunity to do surgery on the fake conservative movement and Republican Party. While Trump is not the culprit for the losses (McConnell and McCarthy are), he is demonstrating that headed forward he is not going to be an asset to our cause. So, does this mean we should obsess about DeSantis for president? Nope. It means we should focus on making DeSantis’ agenda the litmus test for the GOP right now. That begins with getting rid of McConnell and McCarthy and pressuring the other GOP governors to follow the lead of Florida. Our party is not the Republican Party. Our party was not on the ballot except in Florida. Today, I offer a post-election analysis you will not hear elsewhere, chock-full of data points, reasoned logic, and a blueprint for the future. We must stop trying to fix the Republican Party, fix blue states, and obsessively focus on the presidential and expensive senatorial elections. We must focus on making red states red again, making DeSantis the gold standard in every red state, and working on local policy issues that will make red states as red as the blue ones are blue.
