The Carias Martin family – Jose Miguel, Alexandra and Maria Antonieta – of the Betania Community in Scotland, introduce us to their community's founder, the Servant of God Maria Esperanza. The ‘Betania Spirituality Movement’ is a newly established Public Association of the Faithful, spreading devotion to Our Lady, Reconciler of all People and Nations, and her call to conversion and deepening of the faith.

In June 2022 more than 40 worshippers were killed when extremists opened fire during the Pentecost Sunday Mass at a church in Bishop Jude's diocese of Ondo. John Pontifex, Head of Press & Information at Aid to the Church in Need, talks to Bishop Jude about this terrible tragedy and the increasing persecution that Christians face in Nigeria - 7800 have been killed in the last eighteen months.
