The United States Capitol security is on high alert as former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial approaches. Democrats and Trump's team will have up to 16 hours, the the span of two days, to present their case. The youngest riot suspect, an 18-year-old that is accused of shoving the police outside the Senate chamber, has been charged recently.

House GOP Meeting To Vote On Rep. Cheney After Impeachment Vote
The House GOP has met to discuss a vote about Rep. Cheney. A vote on Cheney's fate could come tonight and a vote on Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene could come tomorrow.

A source says that a pro-Trump attorney who pushed the idea of election fraud, from the presidential election, is now under investigation over whether he voted illegally.
Republicans direct ire at Rep. Liz Cheney's vote to impeach former President Donald Trump as they describe her as "comfort[ing] the enemy," while Qanon-Aligned Rep. Greene appears to get a pass on unearthed past comments. Cheney could be punished tonight for voting to impeach Trump as Republicans compares Cheney to a "girlfriend in the opposing team's stands."
DOJ has charged two prominent Proud Boys in connection to the January 6 Capitol riot, while at least nine other group members have already been charged. A Capitol rioter has asked a judge to let her visit Mexico for vacation, as another judge orders "Qanon Shaman" should be given organic food in jail.
