With BC in the rear view, the Duke world can officially turn our attention to the hated Tar Heels. The Duke Blue Devils were able to hold Boston College at arm’s length with a 67-49 victory. We discuss the win on Episode 793. After some fun headlines, we get into the stuff Duke did well, from the 13-0 start to the suffocating defense holding BC under 50 points. Cam Boozer is doing some historic things, and we have to talk about the latest stat that will have your jaw drop. The team did some terrific things in the first half especially to make this game feel over pretty quickly. We do get to some of the things to clean up, notably the offense in the second half. The 3 point shooting gets some mention as the team can finally look towards Saturday night. Any coach will tell you, you take all opponents seriously. The lawsuit that everyone has been talking about is over. Duke University and Darian Mensah finalized a settlement that would allow each to go their separate ways, and we discuss it on DBR Bites #138.
