Gen Z protesters are united in their use of technology, pop culture icons, and their dissatisfaction with corruption and wealth inequality. While the Gen Z-led protests slightly differ in their demands from country to country, the symbol they're using is the same, an anime pirate flag. 

In the US and Europe, young people have been central to a right wing resurgence, partly due to the presence of online influencers. Hamas has agreed to release all the remaining Israeli hostages but the group wants further negotiations on a number of key points outlined in the US peace plan.In a statement, the group said it agreed "to release all Israeli prisoners, both living and dead, according to the exchange formula contained in President Trump's proposal" - if the proper conditions for the exchanges are met.Palestinian analyst Khalil Sayegh discusses whether the latest developments may bring an end to the war.
