Travel Like a Boss

Paleo, Kindle Publishing and making money writing cook books is this week's topic.  I'm a huge fan of the Paleo diet, and believe that publishing a kindle book is an easy way to create online passive income.  Brandon and I sit down and talk about how to make money from amazon kindle publishing, writing paleo cook books for cash and our experience with the Paleo diet.  

Dan makes money through Adsense advertising, and does so with all user generated content.  He created a community for people who are looking for positive influences, mindsets and people.  In this week's episode we talk about the importance of having positive people around you, how to get rid of negative influences in your life and how Dan turned a hobby into a well oiled membership community that generates great content while he travels.  

Josh Stanton from Australia along with his wife Jill teamed together to create a heap portfolio of both Authority sites as well as Niche sites both monetized through Affiliate Marketing.  In this episode we discuss the roles of the husband and wife duel in the business, the benefits of running a business where it's summer time and what he would do if he had to start over and build businesses from scratch all over again.  He's also the boss of Sabrina Taylor who was interviewed in episode 04.  

This week's guest is the president of Greenback Expat Tax Services.  I asked him all about how to write off travel expenses, the loop hole of not needing to pay taxes on the first $95,000 of income if you're out of the country for over 330 days, and the tax benfits of starting up an LLC.  This episode is geared towards enterpuerners who are starting a business in the U.S.

For those who don't know, just earlier this year I had less than $200 in my bank account and was making around $150 a month.  Then I met Anton from www.AntonMethod.com - I followed his course on Dropshipping and eCommerce and two short months later, built a successful online business that was generating over $18K a month in sales and growing each and every month.  I went from having $200 in my bank account to over $15,000 in spendable profits just a few short months later.  I have this man to thank for introducing me to the world of building legitimate businesses online and starting my path to true entrepreneurial freedom.  Anton is truly one of the hardest working, generous, and genuine guys I have ever met.  I am extremely happy to be able to share his knowledge and his story with everyone listening.

Just a few years ago my good friend Sonic aka John Ban was broke, unemployed and barely making ends meet in Los Angeles.  Fast forward a few years and he's driving a Mercedes Benz, owes two Condos which he paid for in cash, and just started his 4th business over the weekend.  Sonic is from Indianapolis, Indiana and came out to visit me here in Chiang Mai Thailand just to hang out.  Make sure you watch the bonus tips video at the end of the show notes, it's not to be missed.

I have my buddy Nic from South Africa on this week.  He is a high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under the legendary Roger Gracie and the founder of the Jiu-Jitsu Brotherhood.  He sells merchandise on his website but even more lucratively he has a Medical Exam test company he started with one of his Jiu-Jitsu students, similar to Pat Flynn's LEED Exam course that really funds his world wide travel along with teaching Jiu-Jitsu seminars.  

My good buddy Kurt Mäkelä just got to Chiang Mai after a world trip to Medellín, Colombia and through New York and Oslo.  He is the man responsible for helping me write out dream lines that actually worked, kept me on task with my goals and to-do lists and was there when I was making less than $150 a month and barely getting by.  I'm excited to have back in Chiang Mai and as this week's guest.  

This week we have Ian Robinson from Reno, Nevada who has lived on six continents and started his trip making $1,000 a week picking fruit in Australia.  He then took that money to fly to South Africa to intern at the FIFA World Cup.  During that travel he started his own podcast and eventually created an online serviced based business helping business owners edit their podcasts.

Stephen Winston from Northern California started his journey with a free birthright trip to Israel, but instead of going home he has been teaching English as a way to travel across Thailand.   Somehow he made his way to the world's best dive site on a remote island in Borneo, one that may not exist by the time you get there.   He then ended up extending his trip by teaching English in Thailand, all without needing a teaching certificate or license.  Listen to find out more.
