I spoke with Valentin Feklistov and Alexander Bitskov, the CEO and COO, respectively, of Legid, a platform that facilitates access to legal advice online. We discussed the genesis of Legid, the most common questions consumers ask lawyers in the Legid network, and how the platform is impacting the availability and delivery of legal services.

I spoke with Chris Fritsch, a CRM Success Consultant and the Founder of CLIENTSFirst Consulting, a CRM and Data Quality Success consulting firm. We discussed why CRM is important for a law firm's success, how the evolution of CRM and marketing technology has affected the way law firms network and develop business, CRM options for smaller to midsize firms, and upcoming advancements in CRM.

I spoke with Brian Potts, a partner with Perkins Coie in Madison, Wisconsin, and Washington, DC, and the author of The Jobless Lawyer's Handbook: How to Get Hired as a Lawyer (Holon Publishing / Collective Press, December 17, 2021). We discussed ways to align one's legal practice with entrepreneurship and a passion for innovation, the Legal Influencer Marketing Agency, career advice for law students and junior lawyers, and ways that the legal profession will continue to evolve.

I spoke with Zach Warren, the Manager of Enterprise Content for Technology and Innovation with the Thomson Reuters Institute, which produces research and perspectives on the future of professional services. We discussed how leading enterprises are managing their data, ways to overcome the barriers to greater technology adoption, and where legal tech is headed in 2023.

I spoke with Caren Ulrich Stacy, the founder and CEO of Diversity Lab, a think tank that uses metrics, behavioral science, and design thinking to produce initiatives that cultivate diversity and inclusion in legal organizations. We discussed how Diversity Lab's programs, such as the Mansfield Rule, have evolved to adapt to changes in legal, how law firms and other legal teams engage with Diversity Lab, the challenges associated with starting new initiatives, and empowering diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

I spoke with Nick Robinson, the Product Manager for the Microsoft Purview eDiscovery team, which is responsible for this solution offered within the Microsoft 365 suite. We discussed how legal teams are leveraging Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery, ways that the advancement of digital transformation and the move to hybrid work have affected how legal professionals approach e-discovery, and the evolution of e-discovery in the cloud.

I spoke with Inna Ptitsyna, the Product Communications Manager at Lawrina, which is an online legal ecosystem with Ukrainian roots. We discussed key strategies for operating and growing a legal tech startup with key staff in the capital of Ukraine, how Lawrina helps consumers, ways that communication between lawyers and their clients has changed, and how legal templates, automation, and AI are impacting the legal industry.

I spoke with Kim Taylor, the CEO of Innovative Driven, a provider of e-discovery services. We discussed how Innovative Driven distinguishes its approach to supporting e-discovery, the evolution of litigation support challenges over the past few years, and the technology trends that are driving change in e-discovery.

I spoke with David Bensinger, the founder and CEO of Bensinger Technology, a consulting and managed services provider for small and midsize law firms and other professional services organizations, predominantly in the New York area. We discussed the technology trends that are driving change in small and mid-size law firms, how the movement toward cloud-based solutions is affecting the way law firms are managing their IT infrastructure, and where small and mid-size law firms will get the most value from technology in 2023.

I spoke with Matt Spiegel, the founder and CEO of Lawmatics, a CRM platform designed to automate client intake and marketing. We discussed how law firms can leverage technology more effectively to enhance the client experience, key marketing and client intake initiatives, and the value of investing in practice management and CRM software.
