We discussed how legal teams distinguish between technology and services in a crowded marketplace, ways that innovation differs between legal teams in corporations, law firms, and legal tech service providers, and how to manage the complexities of data-driven legal risks.

I spoke with Anthony Davies, the Chief Revenue Officer and a Senior Partner at Forrest Solutions, an onsite outsourcing, flexible staffing, and alternative legal services provider. We discussed how law firms are preparing for a return to the office, how they are creating an ideal workplace experience, and ways that the workplace is evolving.

I spoke with Marc Zamsky and Marla Crawford, the CEO and general counsel, respectively, for Cimplifi, an integrated legal services provider that aligns e-discovery and contract analytics for corporate legal departments and law firms. We discussed Cimplifi’s new market research report, The Expanding Influence of Legal Operations: An Inside Look at AI, CLM, and Law Department Transformation, the trends driving change in corporate law departments, how CLM and AI are affecting in-house strategic initiatives, and the trajectory of digital transformation in legal.

We discussed what firms that are finding success in a hybrid workplace are doing to thrive, mistakes law firms are making in managing their teams and training their employees, and balancing a return to the office full-time and working in a hybrid manner.

I spoke with Rob Ameerun, the founder of the Lexpo conference, which is focused on promoting innovation and digital transformation throughout Europe. The 2023 edition will take place on June 12 and 13th in Amsterdam. We discussed how Lexpo differs from other conferences, this year's programs, and what the focus indicates about how the legal industry has changed.
