The Process Era Philadelphia 76ers are undefeated in the NBA playoffs. Much to Dave Silver's dismay, the Sixers cleaned it up after a messy first half and demolished the Heat in the opener their first round playoff series. We discuss the game, and the vibe before, during and after it. As well, we talk about Hero Of The Process, Academy Award nominated screenwriter Mike Weber confronting Silver in the stands about The Process. In June, we'll celebrate five years of the Rights To Ricky Sanchez. This is the first podcast we've ever done previewing a playoff series for the Sixers. Let's look at Heat vs. Sixers. Joel Embiid breaking his face on Markelle Fultz's shoulder is, as Mike put it, a little too poetic than we're comfortable with. We discuss the the injury, the Sixers surviving without Embiid for at least the rest of the regular season, Markelle Fultz's progression, Mike's appearance on The Ringer, and we talk to Mike's dad who is an eye doctor about Embiid. It seems like just yesterday the Sixers were trying to avoid becoming the losingest team of all-time while we argued that it was the right thing. Here we are with the team at 42-30, and as the team "nobody wants to play in the playoffs." We talk about the journey from there to here, Brett Brown as a possible coach of the year candidate, and the team's recent win streak. We also discussion the notion of restitution from national media from the last five years.  Oh by the way, the Lottery Party sold out in a few hours. We thank you so much. The Sixers didn't really play very well at all this week and still went 3-1. The week in Sixers has taken a turn for the better, after a dead-legs loss to the Wizards and a heartbreaker to the Heat, a ho-hum win over the Cavs in Cleveland and a comeback victory over the Hornets has the team primed for revenge in Milwaukee, along with 400 maniacs at Fly The Process. We discuss the newest turns in the LeBron to Philly saga (and the billboard that wasn't as good as ours), the addition of Ersan Ilysova, recap the first day of Fly The Process in Chicago.  We also talk a bit about Josh Harris' recent exploits.
