Here we are in the 17th year of the Process and the Sixers almost swept the Warriors. We talk about the team and Brett Brown’s questionable decisions down the stretch of the game, the emergence of Jonah Bolden and Mike Scott, Joel Embiid’s comments about resting his body, take on some Relationship Advice, the Bryce Harper signing and look ahead to the five biggest remaining games of the season.

Just about every Sixer is going to be reevaluated in a number of weeks. Joel Embiid, Furkan Korkmaz, and Boban Marjanovic are healing while the Sixers are playing. We discuss Jimmy Butler’s perceived coasting, the Processy spasticness of Jonathon Simmons, the aggressiveness of Ben Simmons, as well as the chances Ben Simmons makes a decision that turns the NBA on its head, and what it would have been like if LeBron chose the Sixers.

Because talking about the Sixers sleepwalking through a home loss to the Portland Trailblazers isn’t a ton of fun, we only spend about ten minutes on it. The Celtics, fueled by being free of their poison-in-the-locker-room point guard Kyrie Irving, were able to squeak by the Sixers once again. Elton Brand’s first trade deadline is over! We discuss how Brand did, Markelle Fultz’s run as a Philadelphia 76er is over, as he was traded to the Orlando Magic for a first round pick, a second round pick, and Jonathon Simmons. We discuss the trade, the rollercoaster ride of Fultz in Philadelphia, as well as the James Ennis trade and how the rest of the Eastern Conference improved.

The Sixers went all-in. While the Sixers are playing their best basketball of the year and beating the Warriors, the Celtics are falling apart right before our very eyes. It’s a very sad situation.
