Tobias Harris hasn’t made a three in weeks, the Sixers barely beat the Cavs and then lost in Orlando. We discuss the reality of the time it will take for the Sixers to come together, and what problems might not be cured with time. Furkan Korkmaz was mad that he wasn’t playing enough so he wanted to be traded, the Sixers then didn’t pick up his rookie option. He became an unrestricted free agent, and no one wanted him, but the Sixers couldn’t find anyone else, so they re-signed him. That’s what made the game winner so sweet. We discuss the Portland game, the Horford screen, O’Quinn passing, and Anfernee Simons. We also talk about whether Embiid should cool it in a number of ways.

Joel Embiid got into a fight with Karl-Anthony Towns, and then called him a number of names on Instagram and Twitter afterward. Ben Simmons joined in, Al Horford did not, and Mike Scott really enjoyed all of it. It was ugly at the start, but the Sixers, who are on pace to go 82-0, beat the Celtics into submission, 90s NBA style. Joel Embiid only had to play 23 minutes, Josh Richardson was an animal on defense, and Al Horford rang the bell. We talk about the play of each starter, and the bench, which featured Furkan Korkmaz for nearly 20 minutes, Kyle O’Quinn shooting threes, and neither Neto nor Burke till the very end. The Celtics are trash.
