Reflection on 2019 - My Hardest Year
In this podcast I reflect on how much of a challenge 2019 has been.
I have learned:
1. Love is REALLY important to me
2. I have the courage to do whatever it takes
3. Even in my hardest times, I still have the strength to serve and look after others
4. There is so much out of our control, just focus on what you can control and that's how we show up and how we lead
5. God has a plan for me and I am learning to trust in that
6. The right people can make such a profound impact on your life - positively or negatively. Choose them wisely.
7. Prioritise your physical and mental health
I'm grateful for it all. I wouldn't be entering 2020 as powerful and purposeful without the pain.
What has 2019 taught you?
What is your focus for 2020?
My focus is to lead with love and serve with purpose. Everyday.
Much love and thank you

Do the next right thing: What do the All Blacks and Frozen II have in common?
In this 3 minute podcast I share the unlikely connection between one of the greatest sports teams of all time, the New Zealand All Blacks, and the sequel to the billion dollar Disney movie Frozen.
Hope it helps in someway.
The book I refer to is "Perform Under Pressure" by Dr. Ceri Evans.

If the world was ending...
In this 7 minute podcast I share my reflections on "If the world is ending..."
I just don't think we would be sat around reflecting on how much money we made, how many possessions we had acquired or what job status we'd achieved.
Give it a listen to find out what I would be reflecting on.
I'd love to know how you would reflect right now if the world was ending.
If you want to get involved in the #ABTY20 challenge, head over to facebook, join our community and post your reflections.
Much love

Interview Sessions Ep 61 with Chris Middleton
Ep 61 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Senior Leader, life coach and military veteran Chris Middleton
Chris shared his story and the things this man has had to overcome in his life so far is nothing short of inspiring.
A story of such pain and loss, purpose, meaning and giving back.
The man has a huge degree of humility and recognised the various people he had in his corner that helped him become the man he is today, showing the importance of who you have around you really matters.
We also touched on his experiences with StrongMen and how powerful the bond has become between people with shared understanding and experiences.
Such a powerful conversation that I hope you will share with someone who needs to hear it.
Much love
Ryan 💙

I cried my eyes out...
In this short episode, I share with the ABTY community how I had to admit I was breaking before I could start doing what I needed to do to rebuild stronger.
One month ago I sat in a car park and cried my eyes out.
Listen to find out why and what helped me turn things round.
Much love & keep showing up
Tough times don't last, tough people do.

WE ARE TWO
This week WE ARE ABTY hit two years old.
This community that started and that we’ve created together has been a place of safety, connection, love and inspiration for not only me but hundred of people all around the world. 🌎
We held a Facebook live together and shared stories of what being part of ABTY means to us.
This is what matter most. True impact. Not numbers.
Numbers will only look to advance the group and show it and me as successful (or not).
For me, it’s more about the stories and hearing how the community has helped others be more successful.
That’s the true value of our community.
We rise by lifting others.
Through love, non judgment, empathy, service and accountability.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey either watching or taking an active part and a special thank you to the 50+ people who have contributed their time, energy and love to help others be better than yesterday.
Much love
Ryan
