102 - Michelle Letendre

Do you still think that it’s possible to be a great coach and a great athlete at the same time? Do you still think that the best athletes write the best programs? You might want to give this episode a listen. . Michele Letendre has been wildly successful as a CrossFit Athlete, placing 4th in the world at the 2014 CrossFit Games and she is now wildly successful as a coach heping two of her clients (Laura Horvath and Patrick Vellner) to second place finishes at the 2018 CrossFit Games. . I have so much respect for both the type of competitor Michele was and the kind of coach that she is. When you mingle around in the Warm-up area at the CrossFit Games you can see which coaches are really invested in the success of their athletes. It’s in how they carry themselves, the laser focus they have, the way they fight back showing too much emotion when an athlete does well or poorly Michele exemplifies all of these characteristics. . In this episode Michele talks about why it’s exceedingly difficult to be a great athlete and a great coach at the same time. She talks about the emotional energy tied to both as well as the cognitive energy. . Michele also offers her opinion on the changes to the CrossFit Games and the lack of clarity around where things are going. You won’t want to miss it.   Michele Can be found at: @mich_letendre @dekacomp www.dekacomp.com REVIEW US! If you love this podcast , please click HERE to leave a review. 101 - Jason Khalipa, AMRAP Mentality

Intensity. If you are looking for one word to describe Jason Khalipa, it’s intensity. At least that’s what I got from a 40 minute conversation with him for today’s episode. . Jason Khalipa has won the CrossFit Games as an athlete and he has won the CrossFit Game as a business owner. Today Jason talks about his concept of an AMRAP Mentality, the act of being present in every moment by having wild clarity around where you need to be and what you need to be doing at all times throughout your day. . It is abundantly clear that during the time we were recording this podcast, Jason’s mind was singularly focused on the interview. He goes over what his schedule for the day looks like and it’s impressive. Jason also gets vulnerable with us and talks about what it was like to learn that his Daughter Ava was diagnosed with Leukemia (a disease which she has successfully fought and is currently in remission from). . Jason is a special person, having had success as an athlete, a business owner, a philanthropist, and a family man. When you hear how he communicates with the important people in his life it will be clear to you why, and that communication might be the most important lesson you take from this episode. 098 - What you say you will become

As adults we have life experience to tell us what we can and cannot do. The problem is that our life experience is incomplete. If other people can do something, why would you believe yourself to be incapable? . What you really know is that if you try to do something again the same way you tried to do it in the past when you failed, then it is likely you will fail again. The solution? Do it differently. . In this episode Dr. Sean brings on a very special, surprise guest who he hopes will help you understand that the things you tell yourself are the most important things you say all day.

094 - Dr. Danny Matta

Dr. Danny Matta is doing some of the most important work in the field of physical therapy and chiropractic today, he is educating practitioners. . If you are like most Americans, the first question you ask when considering a practitioner is "do you take my insurance?", this is the WRONG QUESTION. The right question is "Can you solve my problem?" Nothing else matters! . Dr. Matta is teaching practitioners how to answer this question with a resounding "yes", and he's teaching them how to get paid their value for it. As a potential patient, this is the position you want your doctor in. You want him/her to feel fulfilled in their role. You want them to be financially stable. If your doctor isn't financially secure, you run the risk of seeing a doctor who makes decisions about your health and well being based on what it's worth to them financially. Didn't think of it that way did you? . Listen to this episode! Then share it with a friend, or five. Scratch that, share it with five.  . Enjoy! .
