It was great connect with Richard Vobes over on his channel for another free-range conversation about the ongoing nefarious machinations of the music industry.

Ever noticed how everything’s OUR fault? The spread of Co(n)vid? Our fault. “Climate change”? Our fault. The gaslighting and guilt-tripping even extends into spiritual belief systems, particularly the de facto “New Age” one which has been placed there as a trap for truthseekers who reject mainstream religions. This one teaches that the hardships and challenges we face in life are … OUR fault. That they only occur because our souls (say it quickly) desire these experiences to “grow” and “evolve.” It even gives a free pass to evildoers, by telling us us that they are merely facilitating our evolution, and so don’t warrant judgement! The ultimate cosmic cul-de-sac.

Atheism as an overall mindset clearly makes no sense. We’re here; we exist; so some generative force created us.But is that generative force the same as the one which put THIS place into existence and facilitated our incarnation into it? I’ve pretty much given up on examining current affairs and conspiracy issues as I honestly don’t feel any of it can be fixed. Witness the never-ending onslaught of shows, podcasts, videos, bulletins, shorts, reporting every day on all the madness going on. It could literally drive you insane if you tried to get personally involved in every one. We CAN stem the tide and minimise suffering, and that is what we must seek to do with our time and resources. I’m certainly not advocating sitting back and doing nothing.But ultimately I feel we must accept that, however it happened, we find ourselves in a realm constructed to facilitate suffering. If you were to witness an infant being mercilessly beaten in the street, few would disagree that the righteous, moral course of action would be to intervene to prevent the child from further harm. The child hasn’t asked for the intervention, the parents haven’t asked for it - but that still doesn’t stop it from being the right thing to do.IF “God” is all good, and IF this realm has been created by a lesser, demonic entity and we have been trapped here against our will … why do we not see the same kind of intervention on a cosmic scale? How can a loving God - IF all great, and if capable of anything - sit idly by and watch all the pain and suffering which here endlessly … and needlessly?
