Bluestone Life, a member of 1% for the Planet, is the only consumer direct, full stack life insurance company built to dominate a large and growing consumer segment that makes purchasing decisions based on a company's values and purpose. In the current model, insurance companies are considered legacy businesses that have an inward focus that haven't adapted to consumer demands to use business as a force for change. And Bluestone Life is here to disrupt that market. Their model is based on three pillars to differentiate itself from the typical life insurance company that we're all used to. First, they're customer centric. This means that there are no commissions, efficient UI/UX for a better experience and self service, and no loads. Second, they're a values aligned company. The company is involved in impact investing of their portfolio and donates 1% of revenue to environmental non-profits through 1% for the Planet Third, their product features include limited rider options to reduce confusion and higher cash value on permanent products much earlier than competitors.
