The Art of Difficult Conversations - with Angie Colee
Angie Colee might be one of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet - also, one of the kindest. But just because she’s got a big heart doesn’t mean she can’t shoot you straight - and just because she can speak truth doesn’t mean it’s not kind. Today, we’re talking all about the art of difficult conversations, of which Angie is a true professional. After having her world turned upside down, she picked up and became a nomadic traveler, living in a different place, state, even country for a month at a time. In our conversation today, we talk about learning how to reframe your story to successfully shift your perspective when necessary without feeling fake or invalidating feelings. We talk about how to physically pivot your life sails in a different direction, and of course, we talk about how to have hard, tough, super freaking difficult conversations - Angie even shares a specific formula to break them down so that you can take it into your next one with a bit more grace and a bit less anxiety.

She was almost Sex Trafficked…but Survived - with Chandler Hatchett
Sex trafficking and exploitation has increased 40% since the pandemic. There are an estimated 750,000 predators online at any given time. There are currently 40.3 million people enslaved in the world - roughly 1 in every 200 people. Human trafficking is a hard reality in our world today, but we’re hoping to shine a light in the darkness and spark an important, necessary conversation. My friend Chandler was made victim of a sex trafficking attempt in Miami, and she’s bravely and boldly sharing her story today so that we can all become more informed on the horrific reality of trafficking in our world and country. Chandler also shares some important personal safety tips that she has since learned and put into practice to stay alert, tips on teaching your kids and keeping them as safe as possible (including online), and the best ways to get involved in your own community. We're in this together. Please take a stand against human trafficking with us.

Thriving as a Mama After Loss - with Chloe Ciferri - with Chloe Ciferri
Today’s episode with Chloe Ciferri is a really special one. Chloe and her husband Adam have experienced what no parent ever wants to or should have to experience. After unexpectedly contracting a mysterious illness around 20 weeks into pregnancy, Chloe ended up being hospitalized, and they tragically lost their firstborn daughter Adalyn. In healing, they created a nonprofit, the Adalyn Rose Foundation, to support families following loss and provide a space for them to honor and celebrate their babies for years to come. Beyond sharing her own story, Chloe gives specific tips on finding support and community, coping skills to cultivate, as well as tips for helping others like friends or family members who may be experiencing loss of their own. While today’s episode is more sensitive, we encourage you to listen if you’re feeling up for it, as Chloe and her work strive to help you heal - and yes, even thrive - after the most impossible pain, to find hope and happiness once again.
