Our information comes from a yearly report by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), which provides guidance on the most contaminated produce and the cleanest options available.
Segment 1: What is Clean Eating? To start things off, we'll define what clean eating means. Clean eating is a way of eating that involves choosing whole, unprocessed foods that are free from additives, preservatives, and chemicals. The idea is to eat foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. Eating clean can improve your health, help you maintain a healthy weight, and provide your body with the nutrients it needs to function properly.
Segment 2: The Environmental Working Group (EWG) Next, we'll discuss the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and their yearly report on the most contaminated fruits and vegetables. The EWG is a non-profit organization that conducts research and advocacy work on issues related to the environment and public health. Every year, they release a report called the Dirty Dozen, which lists the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables and the Clean Fifteen, which lists the safest produce to consume.
Segment 3: The Dirty Dozen In this segment, we'll dive into the Dirty Dozen list and discuss the fruits and vegetables that are most heavily contaminated with pesticides and other chemicals. Some of the items on the list include strawberries, spinach, kale, and apples. We'll talk about why these foods are so contaminated and the potential health risks associated with consuming them in large amounts.
Segment 4: The Clean Fifteen Moving on to the Clean Fifteen list, we'll discuss the fruits and vegetables that are the safest to consume. These items include avocados, sweet corn, pineapple, and papaya, among others. We'll talk about why these foods are the cleanest and what makes them good options for those who want to eat clean.
Segment 5: Choosing Clean Fish Finally, we'll talk about how to choose clean fish. Fish can be a healthy and nutritious part of a clean eating diet, but some types of fish can be contaminated with mercury and other toxins. We'll discuss the types of fish that are safest to eat and provide tips on how to choose and prepare fish that's clean and healthy.
Conclusion: In conclusion, eating clean is an important part of maintaining good health. By choosing the safest fruits, vegetables, and fish, you can ensure that you're getting the nutrients your body needs without exposing yourself to harmful chemicals and toxins. High Tech Fitness Gym - 2 Month Update
Click Here for a FREE 15 min Zoom Consultation With Brad:
In this episode, we talk about the progress report of a gym-goer who has been following The Smart Fit Method at a gym in Costa Mesa, CA for the last two months. Despite partying non-stop after NFL Football season, the gym-goer was able to add five more pounds of muscle. The Smart Fit Method claims to provide a vastly superior workout in a fraction of the time as traditional methods, using technology-backed, adaptive resistance SMART Strength machines.
Body: The Smart Fit Method's technology-backed SMART Strength machines are calibrated to provide the perfect amount of resistance for each rep, ensuring that the muscles are strained enough to get the desired results throughout the entire range of motion. This is based on the concept of "time under tension," which refers to the amount of time during exercise that your muscles are strained enough to get the desired results. Traditional weightlifting only provides a small portion of time under tension, making it less effective.
Scientific studies have found that adaptive resistance training is 2.5 times as effective at fat loss than traditional weights, twice as effective for muscle mass gains, 3.5 times as effective for cardiovascular fitness, 90% greater for strength gains, and 72% more time efficient.
The traditional gym approach of performing repetitions of each exercise, separated into sets, is not as effective as The Smart Fit Method's adaptive resistance training. Spending two hours at a typical gym to get 20 minutes of time under tension is not as efficient as spending just 20 minutes with SMART Strength machines.
Conclusion: The Smart Fit Method's adaptive resistance SMART Strength machines provide a vastly superior workout in a fraction of the time as traditional methods, based on the concept of "time under tension." Devoting your life to a fitness studio is not necessary, but resistance training is essential for a healthy second half of life. The future of fitness is here, and you simply have to try it to believe it.

290: Brad Williams - Tightening Up Your Intermittent Fasting Routine
Tightening Up Your Intermittent Fasting Routine
Click Here for a FREE 15 min Zoom Consultation With Brad:
Welcome to the latest episode of our podcast where we will be discussing the importance of tightening up your intermittent fasting routine. Intermittent fasting is a popular eating pattern that has gained popularity in recent years due to its numerous health benefits. In this episode, we will discuss how you can optimize your fasting routine to get the maximum benefits.
Firstly, we will dive into the benefits of fasting. Fasting is an effective way to lose weight, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce inflammation in the body. It has also been found to increase longevity and promote cellular repair processes. Furthermore, studies have shown that intermittent fasting can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
One important aspect of intermittent fasting is keeping insulin spikes from happening during your fast. This means avoiding any food or drink that can raise your insulin levels, such as sugary or processed foods. By doing so, you allow your body to enter into a state of ketosis, where it burns stored fat for energy instead of glucose.
During a recent podcast interview with a fasting expert, I learned a few holes in my own fasting routine. The expert pointed out that drinking coffee with cream during the fasting period could lead to an insulin spike and break the fast. Similarly, consuming Stevia in your water too close to the fasting period could also cause insulin levels to rise and break the fast.
Therefore, it is essential to pay close attention to what you consume during the fasting period and to ensure that it does not disrupt your body's natural fasting state.
In conclusion, tightening up your intermittent fasting routine can help you achieve maximum benefits and ensure that you get the most out of your fasting period. Remember to avoid any food or drink that can raise your insulin levels, and pay attention to your body's response to your fasting routine. Thank you for tuning in, and we hope you found this episode informative.
