14 // Good Friday: Jesus the King

Teacher: Dru Guillot and Daniel Smith. Whips snapping, crowds yelling, metal clanking. These are the sounds of Good Friday. As Jesus stood before the crowds, they cried, "Crucify Him! We have no King but Caesar!" Jesus, the true King, was rejected by those He came to save. This was true of them. This is true of us. On this Good Friday, let us pause and reflect on how our true King went to the cross for all of us. Enjoyed the message? Rate us ⭐⭐⭐⭐️⭐ and leave a review on Apple Podcasts. 12 // Ephesians: Peace in Christ

Teacher: Derek Mathews. To navigate this life well, God gives us two things to hold onto–Himself and one another. Our peace with God leads us to peace with fellow believers. Jesus stops old conflicts and starts a new community of people united in Him. Where the world sees differences as something to divide over, we can see these differences as strengths when we find our peace in Christ alone. Enjoyed the message? 11 // Ephesians: Saved in Christ

Teacher: Derek Mathews. Tim Keller said it best, "The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope." Ephesians 2:1-10 shows us what we are by nature and what we could be by grace. God is recreating what has been broken by sin by interjecting himself into the human story. By grace through faith, God makes us alive to live our lives, not for ourselves, but in service to others.

6 // High Call. Safe Place: In His Image

Humanity is beautifully made but deeply broken. From the world around us to the reality within us, there is something that just isn't right. Only the Creator can recreate what's been broken. Remaining what He was, God became what He was not: Human. Jesus became the true human that we were meant to be. When we believe and embrace this reality, we are rescued and restored back to who we were created for and what we were created to be.
