This interview is a rare opportunity to hear market legend and entrepreneurial genius  Anthony Saliba on his business crusades around the world, his personal insights into sport, fitness and family and how his last name literally means 'Crusader'.Louise Bedford MindpowerHow are you making your wealth?Do you invest in the three pathways that lead to affluence:business, shares or property or are you tied someone else's dreams?Market Wizard Anthony SalibaAnthony Saliba was born on the wrong side of the tracks. His father was a carpenter who came home with swollen hands and pumped gas at night. It taught Anthony his work ethic and by the time he started trading it was his 27th job. By age 25 he was a millionaire. Tired of mentoring his clerks to trade 5 years later at age 30 he was ready to leave the trading floor and create the first trading simulator. In Lebanese Anthony's surname literally means 'Crusader'.  And he has lived up to his name crusading around the world helping to establish electronic trading and options  training in exchanges all around the world. At one stage he had residences in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt,  Chicago all at the same time. Building businesses is his lifeblood. With some of his entrepreneurial exit points of over $100 million Anthony sees himself as a builder of ideas and businesses. His wife complains he never stops thinking but he continues to dream and think  anything is possible. How does Anthony keep fit? What is his favourite sound? Why does he treat his staff so well?Hear these inner fascinating insights from a market and entrepreneurial legend. If your trading feels like running on a treadmill — sweating, pushing, but going nowhere — it’s because you’re missing the right system. Louise says: "I’m offering free 30-minute calls to rip the brakes off your trading. Market Wizard Anthony Saliba

Hear his life defining moments and how he caught butterflies and played the xylophone of the markets. Also hear from Louise Bedford about whether you should enter new trades.Louise Bedford MindpowerWhen should you consider pulling back from the markets and not enter new trades?Answering this question could just make the difference for you. Anthony SalibaFamously the only options trader to be featured in Jack Schwager’s Market Wizards, Anthony Saliba had earned $8-9 million by the time he was 30 years old. There were a few defining moments in Anthony Saliba’s early trading career. The first was as a frogman in the freezing Indiana water. After completing an accounting degree that he describes as ‘boring’ Tony entered a paddle boat race as a frogman at his university. In the freezing water he got his first job offer in a small firm in Indiapolis. But he decided that the pay wasn’t good enough and he asked who made all the money in the industry? The answer was the guys on the floor. But his boss told him he was never going to make it.He said to Anthony ‘You are too small. That is a big person’s game. You are just a little guy.’It was a life defining moment for Anthony. He became a floor broker in the Chicago Board of Trade. His start was rough one. He lost nearly all of $50 000 capital and whilst feeling despair he was forced to re-evaluate the way he was trading.  So he paired back his risk to where he made a tiny amount of money every day and in doing so he earned the nickname ‘One Lot’. Only after learning true discipline and shaking away false confidence, did he gradually increase his risk and by the time the ‘87 crash came he was the man who had the all the calls. He was famous for his butterfly spreads, mastering how they breathed.  They would be like playing a xylophone going up and down the scale playing the rhythm of the market. He rolled up his sleeves on floor trading by the time he was 30.If your trading feels like running on a treadmill — sweating, pushing, but going nowhere — it’s because you’re missing the right system. Louise says: "I’m offering free 30-minute calls to rip the brakes off your trading. Scared Money Never Wins

Chris Tate sets out the reality of full time trading and what sets his financial thermostat and Louise Bedford shares how to handle a windfall profit.Chris TateFULL TIME TRADING is an easy thing to say but a difficult transition to make. And whilst full time traders are internally directed there are a couple of things to watch out for before taking the leap.1.Under capitizationThere is an old Wall Street saying “Scared Money Never Wins.’If you are dependent on the next trade to put food onto the table you are going to generate a host of errors along the way.2. StructureHow do you structure you time, your day, your finances? How do you pay yourself?Boring things like this have to be worked beforehand because once you have made the move - it is too late.Chris’ advice:  Have big goals with money – and with good grace of hard work and all your ducks lining up you will achieve them. How does Chris set his wealth thermostat? The markets are the facilitator of the life he wishes to lead and his inspiration comes from the knowledge that money buys him experiences and freedom; it is only dependent upon his effort.Louise Bedford - MindpowerHandling an unexpected windfall profit that exceeds your expectations can be tricky. The learning that comes about from making a huge profit can be just as painful and revealing as the learning that comes about from a loss.If you have a win, the most important thing to do is REWARD YOURSELF.You must create a feedback loop where your subconscious seeks further rewards.Caroline Stephen - Who Am IGuess this trading legend in this Who Am I segment.I'm loving bringing this show to you. The feedback has been phenomenal.Louise Bedford is a best-selling author of six sharemarket books, host of the Talking Trading podcast, and founder of TradingGame.com.au, one of Australia’s leading trading education communities. For over 30 years she has helped traders master trading the Australian sharemarket, technical analysis, and trading psychology so they can build long-term financial independence.www.tradinggame.com.au www.talkingtrading.com.au.FacebookYouTube TwitterLinkedIn
