Ex-Navy Jac Hughes joins David and Joe to chat about his experiences on board a giant ship in the sea. Unfortunately Jac realised he suffered from sea sickness not long after joining the Navy. He talks about being one of thirty nine blokes in the mess, sleeping arrangements, not seeing land for two months and all the games that men play when they’re trapped in a big vessel. After he tells them about meeting some pirates David decides he doesn't want to join the Navy. Joe & David have recently bid on some Deal or No Deal memorabilia. The auction house have sent the box of goodies to David's house. David excitedly opens the box live on the pod but is a bit disappointed with the quality of the four red prop boxes and the grubby state of the crew clothing. They find a handwritten message from the auction house and then discover that the pencil drawing of the Deal Or No Deal is actually a photocopy. Joe & David interrupt elderly couple Duncy and Cecily stretching and doing a workout by the side of the canal. Duncan has a dicky tummy because their little dog Dorothy has been eating blue cheese. David joins them for some stretches and has a therapy session with Cecily. Barney, one of Cecily's clients turns up in a bit of a state. They discover that Cecily has also worked with Nigel Havers. William seems to have got the dates muddled and doesn't appear on zoom. To fill time they talk about the 'Derek' prank they played on Paul McCaffrey and come up with a list of potential comedy mates they could play the same prank on. When William's assistant pops up to lets them know that he has actually forgotten they turn the ep into pranky time. Joe and David are in Sheffield for the Crucible and have arranged to do the Park Run together on saturday morning. They are at the AIR BNB having a chat over breakfast. David's a bit nervous. Joe struggles to get them a taxi and David hopes he doesn't have to do it. It's a promising start. They arrive at the park which seems to be full of elite runners.
