Why Patience is Power | Priceless Benefits of Being Patient
Taoism for Inner Peace (book): https://einzelganger.co/tao/Not only is impatience unpleasant, but it’s also pointless. Impatience is the unwillingness to live life at the pace it actually happens; we wish for the universe to bend to our will. We want things now. We want things to change in an instant. But in reality, external circumstances are not up to us: no matter how much we wish that to be the case. Patience, the opposite virtue, is based on the acceptance of what is.Video: Why Patience is Power | Priceless Benefits of Being PatientSupport the channel:

Why close relationships suck (and why they don't) | The Hedgehog Dilemma | Einzelgänger
Why close relationships suck (and why they don't) | The Hedgehog Dilemma
The beauty of superficial relationships is that the lack of emotional investment in one another (for the most part) exempts us from being hurt by this association. When shared moments and memories are few, when there’s no commitment, when any form of interdependence is absent, then not much is lost when the relationship ends. Also, because of the lack of knowledge about one another and any significant involvement in each other’s lives, it’s difficult for emotional injury to occur. However, the downside of superficial relationships (or no relationships at all) is that we lack the warmth, intimacy, and other benefits of being close to someone.

Outsiders & Outcasts (For Those That Don't Belong) | Einzelgänger
Outsiders & Outcasts (For Those That Don't Belong)
From the moment we are born as human beings, the people around us prepare us to fit the herd. We start out as being part of a family, and then we expand our social life with friends, acquaintances, colleagues, and, in many cases, a significant other. People tend to work together and spend time with each other, and thus, they form a welloiled machine called society.Living among the herd has many benefits, like safety, security, access to other people including potential mates, and a shared identity that creates a sense of self. But in some cases, the herd doesn’t want you anymore, and you become an outcast. Or you don’t want the herd anymore, and you become a recluse. Or, perhaps, a little bit of both.No matter what the reason is: some people just don’t seem to belong. And when you don’t belong, you’re an outsider; an outcast. So, how do we handle being an outsider? What about those that don't belong? This video explores the fate of those outsiders and outcasts that live outside the herd.Support the channel:

Why You're Unhappy (according to Epictetus)
Yes, the enchanting, exciting outside world of pleasures we often deem interesting enough to pursue. So we desire what the world has to offer. But losing what we cling to hurts. Unfortunately, what we gain and lose is up to Fortune. So if we let our happiness depend on things that aren’t up to us, Fortune controls how we feel.#stoicism #epictetus #stoic

Are You a Subhuman? | The Existential Crisis You Can’t Ignore
Some people deny the freedom and opportunity to forge one’s authentic path. They don’t want it as it scares them. And so they hide from it in curious ways. Beauvoir argued that such people fall into two categories: the 'subhuman' and the 'serious person.'Video: Are You a Subhuman? | The Existential Crisis You Can’t IgnoreSupport the channel:

You Don’t Deserve What You Want | Stoic Philosophy
Society constantly reinforces this belief, convincing us that life owes us many things. When we don’t get what we want, we become outraged, offended, and blame others for our misery. Fortunately, the ancient Stoics provide clarity, effectively debunking most (if not all) modern forms of entitlement.Video: You Don’t Deserve What You Want | Stoic PhilosophySupport the channel:

How to Build SelfDiscipline: The Stoic Way | Stoicism for Discipline
Stoicism for Inner Peace (book): https://einzelganger.co/innerpeaceThe Stoics considered discipline a virtue, along with other related qualities like perseverance, endurance, highmindedness, and selfcontrol. The Stoics favored hard work and spending their days wisely. Seneca, for example, urges us not to waste our time and act now as life is short. Marcus Aurelius points to nature, concluding that we naturally tend to be hardworking. This video explores Stoic philosophy that may help develop selfdiscipline.Video: How to Build SelfDiscipline: The Stoic Way | Stoicism for DisciplineSupport the channel:

Byung-Chul Han’s Warning: Why Modern Life Feels Emptier Than Ever | Einzelgänger
Philosopher Byung-Chul Han explores how modern life feels increasingly empty due to the fragmentation of time. He argues that our focus on constant achievement creates anxiety and shallow experiences. Leisure activities have turned into mere achievements, lacking genuine engagement. Han advocates for the art of lingering and contemplation as remedies to restore depth and meaning in our lives. By reconnecting with cyclical time and rituals, he suggests we can regain the richness of our experiences and navigate through life more meaningfully.
