While the public loves his work, critics celebrate him far less than his contemporaries, such as Robert Frost. But no one cares what elitist critics think. Beauty is a right, like air, water, and freedom of speech. Our tastes matter. Ken Curry is a marriage and family therapist in Colorado, as well as a men’s group leader, husband, father, grandfather, and author. I also consider him an elder who’s made meaning out of his life experiences, turned victories and defeats to wisdom, and allowed struggle to teach him the meaning of joy. MY 50TH INTERVIEW Douglas Gillette is the co-author of “King, Warrior, Magician, Lover”, an immortal classic of the men’s movement.
