Zac Lomax On Embracing Authenticity & The Greatest Advice He's Ever Received.
St George Illawarra centre & NSW Blues representative Zac Lomax invited me into his home for a conversation on passion, purpose & life as a professional rugby league player. We dived into his upbringing in the country town of Temora, reflected on his first 4 seasons in the NRL & dissected his purpose & passions in life. I was a fan of Zac Lomax the footy player when we first sat down to chat & by the days end, I was an ever bigger fan of the man behind the jersey & away from the bright lights. A conversation of great depth yet not lacking in humour, I hope you enjoy watching it, as much as we enjoyed recording it. Lachlan Stevens Created A Life Changing Community In 'The Barstool Brothers'.
After connecting with Lachie on the first ever episode of the podcast, I invited him back to share an insight into the community he created in 'The Barstool Brothers'. At the time, his business 'Hisboy Elroy' was using beers & burgers to bring blokes together. Before long, the allure of beers & burgers allowed strangers to create friendships & bonds in safe space that allowed them to openly share the trials & tribulations of their own lives when they felt comfortable to do so. The natural progression of 'The Barstool Brothers' encouraged Lachie & co to connect with mental health professionals to ensure the man who were openly sharing in the group could be connected with the correct clinical help where necessary. With hopes to make 'The Barstool Brothers' a not for profit, it's remarkable to see what this man has created & what he continues to do for a community in need. Please follow/subscribe on your platform of choice & share this ep with your friends to help my dream become a reality! You can find me on insta @a.lot.to.talk.about @bradleyjdryburgh & find The Barstool Brothers group & His Boy Elroy on facebook & @hisboyelroy on instagramBig Love, Brad AKA 'The Captain'. Tragedy Inspired Sebastian Terry To Find Happiness in A List of 100 Things.
Sebastian Terry was backpacking around the world when he received tragic news of a friends accidental death. Along the way, his own journey of self discovery led him to helping others find real meaning in their own lives. '100 Things' was born & he now helps thousands around the world to build their own list & grant themselves permission to pursue their happiness.
