Getting Back to What You’re Meant to Do with Corey Lane
This week, I want to revisit the time I had the immense pleasure of speaking with my good friend and jack of many trades, Corey Lane. It takes a good man with awareness, discipline, commitment to do the roles he’s been called to – and Corey is just that.
In this episode, we discussed his transition from drummer and musician to stock trader/investor, the lessons he’s learned surrounding his marriage and family, and finding his way back to his love and passion for music. This conversation was so good I just had to share it again!

What Does It Mean to Be an MVP?
Our heads and our hearts need to be in a certain place to be successful. In all parts of our lives, whether it be fitness, money, or relationships, having your head and your heart in the right place is what leads to that freedom and fulfillment that we all crave. The potential for success is in all of us if we just figure out how to tap into that.
This week, I’m flying solo to share some meaningful notes on going from mediocrity to an MVP. The day-to-day adversity we face as men is not ideal, and it’s definitely not easy, but it’s also an opportunity to build back stronger and reach that success we’ve been working towards.

How Has Being a Man Changed and What Does It Mean Today?
Today’s episode is a continuation of our conversations on manhood and masculinity as we continue to gain more perspectives that shape our idea of who we are as men and who we want to be. For our guest this week, it starts when men are still young boys, and it’s more important now than ever to teach our sons what being a man truly is as they grow into adulthood.
This week, I’m joined by Gabe Wander – a Texas-based combat veteran, entrepreneur, author, and father.
We dive into:
Gabe’s move from the Pacific Northwest to Texas and the difference in culture What defines manhood and masculinityHow Gabe’s time in the army shaped who he is as a manGabe’s book, Maintain Eye Contact While Shaking Hands, and what young boys should be taught about being a manSo much more!

Listening to Your Soul: How to Heal Past Wounds
We all have wounds, whether self-inflicted or afflicted by others. We go through life not fully realizing how our wounds affect us and those around us. But, as men, we’re also not always shown and taught healthy ways to deal with them. And until we fully realize who we are and those wounds are a part of who we are, we can’t fully be ourselves.
This week, I am rolling solo. I wanted to take some time to share some of my heart with you and share a little bit of experience that I believe will be helpful as you are on the journey that you’re on to become the best man that you can possibly be, to become the man that God has created you to be.

Today’s episode is a continuation of the discussions that we’re having around manhood and masculinity. It’s far less about how to be more of a man, or “here’s how I built my business on manhood and masculinity,” and much more about the intricacies of men living the lives that they are, and how those experiences have revealed to them opportunities to live the life that God has called them to, as a man in the world today.
This week, I’m joined by Scott D Speight – chaplain in the military, as well as a leadership coach and trainer. We dive into:
ResiliencyHow Scott’s experience as a military chaplain shaped his perspective on current and future generationsThe experiences that forced Scott to re-evaluate and refocus his priorities, through his work with clients and studentsSo much more!

Humility, Honesty, and Servant Leadership with Aaron Walker
Initially, it can be difficult to see common ground between being an effective leader and being a servant. But we Christians know that servant leadership was a big part of Jesus’ ministry and is a call for anyone who takes up the mantle of leadership today. What can we do to bridge the gap between being a good leader and being someone that serves others well?
In this episode, I am joined by my good friend Aaron Walker, founder of Iron Sharpens Iron Mastermind, author, and businessman. We talk about what it looks like to be a servant leader, the importance of being in a community of guys that will call you out and push you to be your best self, and Aaron’s continuing journey away from arrogance and selfishness toward humility and selflessness.
