#1 - Welcome
This episode of The Mind Mate podcast explores how The Mind Mate came to be, it's vision to empower individuals to own their mental health experiences, the evolution of this wondrous emotion known only as anxiety as well as an in-depth personal anecdote of the host of the show.
Our aim is to shift the understanding and perspective of anxiety and mental health through the promotion of authentic mental health discourse. Talking about one’s issues should be as easy as talking about what’s on the menu for dinner or which sporting team you barrack for; even which chick or bloke you’re into!
Our vision is to create an environment that genuinely celebrates authentic personal story telling on all fronts which therefore, empowers individuals and gives them the freedom to move through their irrational fears and setbacks in a less confronting way.
