Missing Teen with ASD Speaks About Harrowing 20 Days
Eighteen year old Romario Snow has Autism and a sensitivity to violence. When he sees images of violence he runs away from it without thought to how much danger he might be running into. Romario and his mother talk about what caused Romario to elope from a Los Angeles store on June 27th and the twenty days that followed as he was lost in the streets of LA and his mother frantically searched for him. This story has a happy ending but more needs to be done to prevent these events and support families who are coping with elopement and bolting.
