A Church Without Exes
In this message from the short and powerful book of Philemon, Pastor Bryan walks us through the road to reconciliation. Philemon is about the power of the gospel to transform lives and to impact human reconciliation—turning former enemies into brothers and sisters. The church today, often far from this vision, is less like a family and more like a society of “ex”es—ex-friends, ex-colleagues, ex-co-workers. But if the Apostle Paul is right, in the church there are to be no “ex”es.

God's Goodness to the Broken
In this Mother’s Day message from Genesis 16, Pastor Bryan walks us through the story of one of the Bible’s lesser known characters—Hagar. “Hagar” may not be a household name, but her experience is common enough: Isolated, mistreated, abandoned, Hagar may have wondered what in the world God was up to. But in the end, she would not only learn about God’s goodness. She would experience God’s goodness by seeing him—and more importantly, him seeing her—face-to-face.
Preached as part of the series, Goodness in the Middle, at The Summit Church in North Carolina, on May 8, 2022.

Doubling Down on Church

In a day where it seems so many are "tapping out," now is our time to double down and renew our commitment to the Bride of Christ, being gracious with one another as he has been gracious to us, as we are all being sanctified together.
