DAVID FRIENDLY is a film writer, producer, and entertainment executive. Begining as a journalist with Newsweek and the Los Angeles Times, David was hired by Imagine Entertainment, where he became VP of Motion Pictures under Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. There he produced "My Girl", "My Girl 2", and "For Love or Money". He founded Friendly Productions in 2000, and with 20th Centruy Fox, produced the hugely successful "Big Momma's House" and sequel, and "Laws of Attraction" starring Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore. In 2006, his film "Little Miss Sunshine" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, as well at the BAFTA Award for Best Picture, and took home the Independent Spirit Award for Best Feature.

Industry Standard 102: Randy Jackson
RANDY JACKSON is a musician, producer, and television personality, who starred on American Idol as a panel judge for twelve seasons. Starting as a bass guitarist in bands around Baton Rouge as a teen, Jackson went on to record and tour with many of the best jazz, R&B, and pop musicians of the 20th century, including Journey, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Madonna, and many many more. He became a line producer and eventually an A&R executive at Columbia Records and MCA Records, before being tapped to judge on the smash FOX series American Idol, the top-rated show in the U.S. for eight (8) years. Jackson also executive produced "America's Best Dance Crew" for MTV, has over 1,000 gold and platinum records bearing his name from his numerous collaborations, and most recently signed an overall production deal with Endemol Shine to develop scripted, unscripted, and digital programming.

Industry Standard 101: The late Chris Thompson (special re-release)
The late CHRIS THOMPSON was a film and television creator, writer, and producer. He began in enertainment as an improv actor, founding the still-running Los Angeles improv troupe "Off The Wall", and performed on stage with Robin Williams for nearly a year. He began writing for television with "Blanky's Beauties", before becoming a writer and eventually executive producer for the hit series "Laverne and Shirley". He created and produced "Bosom Buddies" for Paramount Studios, launching Tom Hanks' career, then he wrote two feature films - "Back to the Beach" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" - as well as created the shows "Action" for FOX and "Ladies' Man" for CBS. He most recently created the hit Disney Channel show "Shake It Up!", and was an executive producer and/or creative consultant for dozens of shows, and created over 20 network tv pilots.

Industry Standard 99: Caroline Hirsch
CAROLINE HIRSCH is an enterpreneur and philanthropist who founded the landmark CAROLINE'S ON BROADWAY, the upscale, must-stop comedy club for rising and established comedians, located on Braodway in the heart of Manhattan. In 1982, she left a marketing job at Gimble's to open a small cabaret club in Chelsea, eventually developing a roster of incredible comedians and knack for noticing the next big thing. So popular were her lineups, her club required a move to the legendary 300-seat art deco space she operates today. Hirsch also lauchned the New York Comedy Festival, now the largest and most successful comedy festival of its kind. She regularly produces comedy shows that support philanthropic casues, and was named a Comedy Legend & Groundbreaker by Daily Variety for her contribution to the art form.

MICKY DOLENZ is a musician, actor, writer, producer, and director of film and stage, best known as the drummer and lead singer of the iconic band The Monkees. A Los Angeles native, Micky started acting as a child, starring in the NBC show Circus Boy at just eleven years old. While attending college to study architecture, he landed a starring role in the NBC hit show "The Monkees" about a four-piece guitar band, which spawned a real-life following for the group, sparking a string of hits eventually selling 65 million records worldwide. Micky wrote songs and toured with former fellow Monkees actors and writers, before begining to act, write, and direct for the stage and television in the U.S. and England. He continues to perform as an actor and voiceover artist, as well as write and perform music.

JEFF CESARIO is an Emmy-winning actor, comedian, and writer. Born in Kenosha WI, he began as a musician in college and moved to Minneapolis to join the stand-up comedy scene. After crafting a successful stand up career in which he appeared multiple times on the Tonight Show and produced four stand-up specials, he also wrote for television, including "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Dennis Miller Live", for which he won two Emmys as a writer and Executive Producer. He was the head writer for The Queen Latifah Show, Executive Produced Russell Brand's "Brand X" for FX, and co-wrote the Warner Bros. feature film "Jack Frost".

Industry Standard 96: David Zucker
DAVID ZUCKER is a writer, producer, and director who has created some of the most iconic and popular comedy movies ever made, including "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun" series, and is considered a pioneer in the spoof and mockumentary comedy genres. Beginning in college with his brother Jerry and friend Jim Abrahams, Zucker successfully produced and showed comedy shorts in the back of a college book store, before opening the "Kentucky Fried Theater" group in Los Angeles. The trio self-financed a 10-minute short to attract investors to their first film, the smash hit "Kentucky Fried Movie". David Zucker went on to co-write and/or direct or co-direct several successful comedy movies including "Airplane!", the "Naked Gun" series, "BASEketball" (based on a real game invented in Zucker's driveway) starring Trey Parker and Matt Stone, "Scary Movie 3", and "Scary Movie 4". "Airplane!" was nominated for a Golden Globe and BAFTA award, and was entered into the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress in 2010.

She's had successful tenures as an executive with multiple networks, including Senior Vice President of Development Production at Bravo where she won four (4) Emmy Awards - one for developing and executive producing "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", two for "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List", and one for "Cirque du Soleil: Fire Within". She began as an intern and advanced to casting director at A Playwright's Horizons in New York, and went on to a prime time development and casting role at Fox. She served as Visce President for Series Development at Lifetime, and senior Vice President of Development Production at Bravo, where she was responsible for developing the Real Housewives franchise. DAVID GOLDMAN has been a talent agent, talent manager, producer, and entertainment executive, and is the founder and CEO of the Comedy Time Network. A graduate of UCLA undergraduate and law schools, Goldman practiced briefly as a lawyer, before joining the mailroom at the William Morris Agency. there, he had a hand in the creation of the Beach Boys hit "Kokomo," put together the then-largest salary ever negotiated for a director, and represented an impressive client list including actors, directors, and musicians ranging from Will Smith to Billy Idol. He was promoted to the Vice President of the Motion Picture Department, and Head of the Motion Picture Directors Division, before leaving William Morris to join ICM. In 1999, he founded Power Entertainment, a leading management comany specializing in comedy; during his tenure as President and CEO, Power represented comedians including Eugene Levy, Martin Lawrence, Fred Armisen, Keenan Thompson, and Seth Meyers. He went on to found Comedy Time, a production company creating original content for AOL and Sprint, and negotiated distribution deals that brings Comedy Time content to many major digital platforms.

LARRY MILLER is a comedian, actor, writer, podcaster, and best selling author.
