Shari Rash | Financial Advisor for Women & Founder of GWA Wealth
New York Times Top 4 Money Podcast | 25+ million downloads
Everyone’s Talkin’ Money is the go-to personal finance podcast for high-earning women who want to build wealth, feel confident making financial decisions, and stop second-guessing themselves every time they open their bank app.
Hosted by Shari Rash, founder of GWA Wealth and a financial planner with nearly two decades of experience, this show goes beyond budgeting, saving, and investing to focus on the real reason smart, successful women still feel stressed about money: the psychology, habits, and invisible rules driving their financial lives.
Because you can make six figures, max out your retirement, and still lie awake at 3 a.m. wondering if you’re doing it right.
This is not a “stop buying lattes” podcast. This is not finance bro advice. And this is definitely not about shame.
Each week, Shari breaks down how to:
build wealth without burnout or deprivation
make confident decisions about spending, investing, and major life moves
align your money with your values and lifestyle
navigate money as a single woman
undo the “I should be further along” pressure
create financial security and emotional peace
You’ll hear solo episodes and interviews that blend behavioral finance, real-life strategy, and honest conversations about what it actually takes to feel powerful — not just look successful — with your money.
If you’re ready to stop performing financial success and start living it, hit follow.
Your money. Your life. On your terms

Shannah Shares: 7 Ways to Stay Focused on Your Money Goals
In this Shannah Shares, Community Q&A episode, I'm sharing the 7 ways to stay focused on your money goals inspired by a question form Amanda:"I love your podcast and have been listening for over a year now being inspired and working towards my goals. Maybe my question isn't really a question, but more like a request for a pep talk. I have 4 main money goals that I've been slowly working towards Paying off my student loans, saving 4 months of expenses in my emergency fund, saving $3,000 in a what I like to call an "oh shit fund" (I can access this savings account much quicker than my emergency fund), and finally saving for a house. For the past 6 years, I've been laser-focused on paying off my student loans, but because of the pandemic, I decided to shift my focus on hitting my emergency fund goal. Recently, however, I've been struggling with staying focused on achieving the emergency fund goal. I now have only $9,000 left to go of my student loans and I'm also only 3 months away from hitting my emergency fund goal, but now I'm getting the urge to use basically all of my emergency fund money to pay off my student loans now. I know if I did this, I would feel AWESOME but know I would feel anxious knowing I had no emergency fund to fall back on. Do you have any suggestions for staying focused on one goal before making a rash decision and jumping to another goal? I know these are all good problems to have, but I would really love some words of encouragement or advice on how to stay focused on my current goal. Look at the statistics behind lottery winners. According to the National Endowment for Financial Education, about 70 percent of people who win a lottery or receive a large windfall go bankrupt within a few years. So you've got to know the keys to building wealth, and then keeping that wealth. Akeiva Ellis is a financial planner and educator. She works as the Financial Education Specialist at Ballentine Partners, a financial planning firm serving high net worth individuals and families. She is also the founder of The Bemused, a financial education brand catering to young adults. With inflation, rising gas prices and the higher cost of groceries, saving money on everyday essentials is a necessity. Being financially well off isn’t about earning 50% more in your job, winning the lottery or coming into a ton of cash. It’s the everyday small amounts of money you can save here and there and then routing that towards your expenses and goals. You may remember Jay Klauminzer, CEO from one of my very fav apps Raise, on previous episodes. He’s back on this special episode to talk about creative ways to save money on everyday essentials so you can afford your money goals.Links
