Shari Rash | Financial Advisor for Women & Founder of GWA Wealth
New York Times Top 4 Money Podcast | 25+ million downloads
Everyone’s Talkin’ Money is the go-to personal finance podcast for high-earning women who want to build wealth, feel confident making financial decisions, and stop second-guessing themselves every time they open their bank app.
Hosted by Shari Rash, founder of GWA Wealth and a financial planner with nearly two decades of experience, this show goes beyond budgeting, saving, and investing to focus on the real reason smart, successful women still feel stressed about money: the psychology, habits, and invisible rules driving their financial lives.
Because you can make six figures, max out your retirement, and still lie awake at 3 a.m. wondering if you’re doing it right.
This is not a “stop buying lattes” podcast. This is not finance bro advice. And this is definitely not about shame.
Each week, Shari breaks down how to:
build wealth without burnout or deprivation
make confident decisions about spending, investing, and major life moves
align your money with your values and lifestyle
navigate money as a single woman
undo the “I should be further along” pressure
create financial security and emotional peace
You’ll hear solo episodes and interviews that blend behavioral finance, real-life strategy, and honest conversations about what it actually takes to feel powerful — not just look successful — with your money.
If you’re ready to stop performing financial success and start living it, hit follow.
Your money. Your life. On your terms

Blockchain 101 & How It Will Impact Your Future Wallet With Kendi Lane
Blockchain, cryptocurrency, bitcoin - say what? There are a lot of confusing terms out there, and I wanted to get to the bottom of it. We have all heard about bitcoin - it was on the tip of everyone's tongue a few months ago and people were investing in it that have never even invested in their 401(k) or IRA (yikes). What about blockchain - the technology that needed to exist before bitcoin? I think it's time to roll up our sleeves and figure this out.On This Podcast Episode:Kendi joined us on the podcast way back in November 2017 talking all things bitcoin. If you haven't taken a listen to that episode, you need to!Led by Bitcoin and Ether, cryptocurrencies have lost 10% of their combined value over the last week. Bitcoin on Tuesday dropped 4.5%, and Ethereum — after dropping 17% on Monday — fell another 7% on Tuesday. The total market value of cryptocurrencies worldwide is now at its lowest since November, according to The Wall Street Journal. So, is this technology something you should put your money into and how will it impact your future wallet (because it isn't going anywhere). Kendi is a force to be reckoned with and a super smart chic who knows her stuff when it comes to blockchain and the perfect millennial expert to school us all.Connect with Kendi:

Ask Shannah: Dealing with Student Loans and Debt
In this Ask Shannah episode, I'm tackling two complex questions about student loans. Everything from borrowing money from your 401(k) to pay off your student loans, to dealing with student loan debt when you're in a relationship. In This Podcast Episode:Thanks for all the great #AskShannah questions that are coming in. As always, remember you can always submit a question anonymously so I won't disclose your name when I'm reading over the question.I'm covering two questions on this episode that I think most of us could relate to in some way. As a reminder, they call this personal finance because it is just that - personal. When you're making a money decision, you should weigh the pros and cons and then come to a decision that feels good to you and makes sense based on your lifestyle. My question to you is, what benefits (or drawbacks) could there be if I were to take a loan from my 401(k) to pay off my student loans?
Which leads me to my question.. Am I wrong to think that having him put some money in a high yield savings account, could help him to pay off his student loans faster due to compounding growth?
Tune in to hear my thoughts and feel free to send me your own #AskShannah question for a future episode. Thanks for Tuning In:Thanks for tuning in to listen to this episode of Millennial Money. The Gap Between The LGBTQ Community & Financial Planning With The Debt Free Guys
There is a real gap between the LGBTQ community and financial planning and there's no way to mask it. I have to admit, there were some shocking stats that David and John from The Debt Free Guys talked about on this podcast episode that blew my mind. I didn't know that in many states just having a picture up in your office or on your desk at work if you're part of the LGBTQ community could come with heavy financial consequences like losing your job. So, I wanted to find out, why is it that the LGBTQ community is overlooked by the financial industry. On This Podcast Episode:David and John from The Debt Free Guys recently wrote an article for GoBankingRates about why the financial services industry needed more LGBTQ people and I knew they had to be a guest on the show. I've received a lot of emails with Ask Shannah questions from listeners who feel like they can't relate to financial advice, are a part of the LGBTQ community, and don't know where to turn.In this episode, we will offer some resources, advice, and real talk on this subject.Even if you aren't part of this community, this episode will open your eyes to some of the injustice that members of this community face and the financial ramifications of being overlooked and discounted for years.

Money Wisdom From My Dad (And He's Pretty Smart)
My dad is somewhat of a legend in the financial services world. He's been helping people for well over 40 years now and is beloved for his personality and intent on always putting clients needs before his. I know him as Dad and the person who taught me almost everything I know about personal finance. On This Podcast Episode:My Dad, Stan, is joining us for a lively discussion about the advice he has about how to be smart with your money in your twenties and thirties. We'll also talk about the difference between perceptions of money when he was in his twenties versus now - which is always a fun topic for me.Dad's top advice:
Save for emergencies (and save more than you think)
Invest in your 401(k) and don't touch the money
Cover your risks, but only if you have a strong ER fund
Don't be afraid to try and learn when it comes to smart money moves
