In the most recent edition in the storied college basketball rivalry between Duke and the University of North Carolina, Blue Devils' star Zion Williamson lost his footing trying to make a cut in the first minute of the game, causing his Nike basketball shoe to fall apart. Fortunately, he only suffered a mild knee sprain. Nike, on the other hand, had to endure social media hell, getting criticized and poked fun at for the shoe failure seen on national television.
