Imam Christopher AbdulKareem Pavlíček is the co-founder of the Ojala Foundation, a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting the Latino and revert Muslim community in Chicago for over two decades. Recognizing the need for cultural connection and support upon embracing Islam, he has been instrumental in fostering unity between Muslim and Latino communities through education and social service initiatives. Beyond his leadership at the foundation, Imam AbdulKareem actively engages in community outreach, including organizing food distribution events to assist those in need. He also leads Islamic studies classes, contributing to the spiritual and intellectual growth of the community.

Emad Saadeh is an author, lecturer and a counselor for victims of violent crimes. A story of a Palestinian boy who was born in Jerusalem and lived there under Israeli occupation for the first 12 years of his life. His father migrates to the USA in 1973 to escape constantly being arrested and being jailed by the Israelis. The young boy and his siblings are finally reunited in 1978. The sweetness of that reunion is short lived because of his father's physical and mental abuse which drives him to flee his home for the streets of Chicago where he is introduced to the world of Chicago street gangs. He finds himself being arrested many times for his gang activities until he is eventually sentenced to state prison in 1985. In 1987 he is released so he attempts to lead a clean law abiding life but the lucrative drug trade sucks him in and is eventually arrested by the DEA, than after a jury trial he is sentenced to 160 month in federal prison. He is released after almost serving 13 years and finds a changed Chicago with a very disunited family and not much love for each other. Imam Adeel J. Zeb is a global interfaith scholar, CEO, and TEDx speaker. He served as the 1st Muslim and 1st South-Asian president of the National Association of College and University Chaplains. He is the founder of Halal Love Journey, a multifaceted Muslim marriage service offering pre/marital coaching officiating nikkahs, and tailored matchmaking. Zeb has certifications in conflict management, interfaith conflict management, and mediation from the United States Institute for Peace. He served as a two-time U.S. Congressional staffer. He holds degrees and certifications from Baylor University in business administration and Arees University in traditional Islamic studies, a master's degree in Islamic chaplaincy from Hartford Seminary and certified in tajweed and Qur'anic recitation from the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. He initially gained recognition for his work with CNN and has been associated with other major news networks like the BBC and Channel 4. Kareem converted to Islam and has a background that spans from acting and stand-up comedy to activism, particularly focusing on AIDS awareness in his earlier years. His journalistic career took a significant turn when he began documenting the Syrian conflict in 2012, where he founded his own media outlet, On the Ground News (OGN). Kareem's work has often placed him in proximity to insurgent groups, earning him both praise for his courage and criticism for perceived biases. His reporting style has been noted for providing a unique perspective from within rebel-held territories, often focusing on the lives of civilians and fighters. Kareem has claimed to have survived multiple drone strikes, alleging that he was placed on a U.S. "kill list" due to his reporting, which led him to file a lawsuit against the U.S. government. In August 2020, he was arrested by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), an al-Qaeda offshoot in northern Idlib, Syria, on charges of incitement and working with groups that harm public security, but was released after six months. His work continues to focus on the humanitarian aspects of conflicts, often putting him at personal risk but also earning him a following among those interested in grassroots journalism from conflict zones.
