Recently Martin Popoff published his top 20 Deep Purple Steve Morse moments with Goldmine Magazine and I did mine for the Now Spinning Magazine website and on the Now Spinning Magazine Youtube Channel. We both realised how much more difficult this was compared with the early albums. This was not due to the Morse period albums being lesser quality, far from it. But the music is much more complex and there is so much going on. We also wanted to look at each of the albums and even discuss how we as fans have also changed in the time we have to listen to albums like we did when we were younger.
